A/N -I found a video of Liyue and thought that it would be a good opening for the arc :)

It possibly contains spoilers of upcoming character stories and the arc itself.

And this is a longer chapter than I expected it to be, but I wanted the whole meeting with Childe to be in one chapter so I could proceed to the story.

Liyue.

The city of commerce and trade.

Liyue.

The of currency and supply.

Liyue

The city of contracts, of him.

And her...

Nearby the Harbour was an old house.

From the outside, it looked good enough for everyone to think that someone still lived there.

The house stood there like it didn't have any care in the world.

But still no one dared to come near the house, not even treasure hoarders.

Besides, it was an odd place to build a house.

Inside, the house was filled with memories.

Happy and sad.

Laughter and arguments.

Love and hate.

There was also a grave, but not near the house.

There lied a person very dear to both of them.

To those two who was reminded of her every time they met.

But for her, they put their estranged relationship aside.

Because that would make her sad.

And it would make her happy to them together.

Visiting her.

Father and daughter.

The daughter tolerated her father's presence.

But she didn't want to make it obvious in order to make her mother sad.

Raelin's POV.

I stood before her grave.

I brought her, her favorite flower; The Qingxin.

I always thought that my mother was like a Qingxin Flower.

Warm and beautiful.

Like the flower, she always loved to gaze over the landscapes.

But I couldn't stay here for too long.

I had to go to Liuli Pavilion.

The traveler and Paimon arrived in Liyue not too long ago. And somehow got tangled in with Liyue's military force, the Millelith.
