It was a new day in Mondstadt. Everyone was excited by the last day of the Windblume Festival, especially since a Windblume Flower would be offered to the Anemo Archon, Barbatos.

But what they didn't know that day, was the monster lurking in the ocean. Even though it had no idea that a bait was laid out.

She had a reason to do this.

A reason, to absorb Elemental energy in order to grow.

She was usually the size of a tall female.

But when absorbing enough Elemental energy, she could grow as big as two or three Regisvines put together.

It was already morning, when she decided to make her move.

She knew she was being baited.

She deliberately took the bait and let out a roar so whole Mondstadt could hear her.

People began to panic in the city and the Knights did the best they could to calm the people.

''Everyone! Calm down! You are not in danger! Raelin has gone to confront the monster as I speak!''

The people began to calm down when their beloved Acting Grand Master announced the news.

Aether and Paimon headed towards the end of the bridge, where Diluc, Kaeya, Lisa and Venti looked at the monster before them. Jean eventually joined them.

Before the monster stood Raelin and Kamui.

The lower part of the Gorgon had already turned into a thick snake body, with snakes on her hair as well as two pairs of big golden wings.

''I was wondering who lured me to this place. If it isn't Halphas herself before me.'' Gorgon glared at Raelin.

Much to Raelin's surprise, the Gorgon knew who she was even though they never met each other. ''You're the one who have been tampering with the domains of this nation. As far as I'm concerned you're the one who's trespassing. What is the reason you have to sneak around?''

''You are the reason I am here.''

''Me?''

''You killed my children decades ago, when they were in the process to take over humanity. You might remember my three daughters.''

It took Raelin a while to understand what Gorgon meant, until she realized who Gorgon was referring to.

''I will do what my children failed to do, take over the nations.'' The Gorgon bowed down to Raelin and Kamui.

''Vengeance is what fuels my ambition. The God of Storm and Lupus Borea are both gone. And it has come to my attention that the Anemo God has not been around for decades either. And yet you managed to slay my daughters and free the Salia Island and its people.''

The group by the bridge

''Sialia Island? Paimon has never heard of such Island before.''

''I don't know much, since there isn't much lore of it. But what I do know is that there used to be enslaved people living on that Island.'' Diluc recalled what his father told him once.

''Diluc's right. There used to be people living in peace until someone enslaved them. That was until Raelin freed them.'' Jean added.
