Chapter 11 Stuck With Harry

I bit Liam. But how? I was biting a wall! I was in a whole different room! I saw it with my own two eyes. I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath trying to calm myself down.

"Amber, it was an accident, chill out." Harry put a hand on my shoulder, but I jerked away from him quickly with my eyes still closed.

"It's not okay, I just bit someone whom I thought was a wall!" I shook my head.

"Wait, you thought he was a wall?" Niall asked.

I slowly opened my eyes and meeting his icy blue ones. I nodded slowly, waiting for his reaction. He just stared at me with an unreadable expression on his face. His face was so hard to read, it was like trying to read a rock.

He stared at me unblinking. Everyone else was staring at us by now. When I blinked, he didn't. When I tried moving from left to right, his eyes stayed still, staring into space. It was like he was in his own world.

He stayed so still, he looked like a statue. His icy blue eyes stayed fixed on the wall behind me. And suddenly, his pale pinkish lips parted slowly. Everyone else in the room was staring at him, expecting something big to happen.

"I'm hungry." he suddenly said.

Everyone gave him a 'are you f*cking serious' look, but I just sat there glaring at him. He got up quickly and left without another word.

"It's late, we should go to bed." Zayn said, stretching this arms out while yawning.

"Vampires sleep?" I asked.

He just gave me a flat look. I turned to Harry and cocked an eyebrow at him.

"We do, only some of us are night creatures." Harry replied simply.

"Why? Why don't you guys sleep in the day and wake at night?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Zayn scoffed.

"I still can't believe you bit Liam..." Louis trailed off, staring at Liam's neck fascinated.

"Back to that, you thought he was a wall?" Zayn asked.

I nodded.

"Let's just drop it, she's a newborn-"

Zayn cut Liam off. "Quiet, we need to know what connections Clyde has with her."

"But it doesn't make sense." Harry scratched the back of his neck. "Clyde can't have any connection with her unless she's looking in a mirror."

All heads snapped in my direction. I grinned sheepishly at all of them before clearing my throat and getting up from the floor.

"Um, I need to pee." I excused lamely.

"Where did you get a mirror?" Zayn asked, cocking an eyebrow at me.

"Um.."

"We didn't leave any lying out anywhere." Harry looked at me suspiciously.

"Maybe she has the gift of getting anything she wants!" Louis yelled/pointed out.

Everyone just rolled their eyes at him.

"Newborns don't develop their gifts straight away, it takes them at least one week." Liam stated, folding his arms across his chest.

Louis shook his head. "I've felt it in her before, there's something different about her."

"What could possibly be different about her?" Zayn scoffed.

"I have to tell you guys a dirty little secret, let's go talk outside." Louis motioned for everyone to follow him as he walked outside.
