Chapter 19 Pixies & Monorails

"Keep calm guys." Liam told all of us. The fairies were eyeing each of us up like we were their prey.

"How can they even be out during daylight?" Harry asked, his voice filled with surprise.

"I feel so stupid for forgetting they burn in daylight." Niall bit his lip. The other members glared at him once again. Poor Niall. Today just wasn't his day. I reached over and patted him on the back gently.

"It's going to be okay." I said trying to sound confident but failed.

Zayn snorted loudly. "Says the girl who has to be babysat."

I sent him a death glare. "Shut up."

He just smirked back at me. "You're just mad because it's true."

"Now is really not the time to argue." Liam interrupted our little argument. He got us to form a large fighting circle. We were facing out of the circle and we were all back to back. He put me right in between Harry and Zayn, probably because he didn't trust Niall and Louis to protect me anymore. He really is daddy Direction..

"What do you want?" Liam asked the pixies around us.  

"Master sent us to come collect his bride." the pixie with the pink eyes from earlier replied.

"Let me guess, your master is Clyde?" I asked them. All the pixies nodded. "Well, you can go tell your master that he isn't getting his bride." I shooed them away, but they all just stood there staring at us.

"Master will get his bride, we will be certain of it." a female pixie spoke up.

"We'll bring her back no matter what." another pixie said confidently.

"Over my dead body." Harry growled.

One of the pixies cocked his head to the side and smiled. "Sorry, but master's orders are we cannot kill you." he cocked his head to the other side. "But I could tell master that you insisted on dying after we kill you."

"Good to know." Louis replied sarcastically.

The pixies exchanged glances before nodding. Suddenly, they all lunged for us at the same time. Two pixies came straight for me, but before they could reach me Zayn and Harry grabbed them and threw them away.

"Like I said, you have to be babysat." Zayn said while punching a pixie that lunged for him right in the jaw.

"No I don't!" I growled, kicking a pixie in the stomach.

"Now's really not the time guys." Harry said, twisting a pixie's arm.

"He started it!" I pointed out while dodging a pixie.

"I was just stating the truth." Zayn shrugged.

Harry rolled his eyes while elbowing a pixie's stomach. "Stop it, Zayn."

Zayn threw his hands in the air while kicking a female pixie in the stomach. "What'd I do?"

Harry rolled his eyes again. "You know damn well what you did." he replied while grabbing two pixie's heads before smashing them together. Ouch.. "You enjoy getting on people's nerves."

Zayn gasped while he helped Liam push away a pixie with sharp teeth. "Now why would you say that?"

More and more pixies were charging for us. All of them had glowing pink eyes and some had pointy sharp teeth. "I've known you since X-Factor, Zayn." Harry sighed. "You got on all the other contestant's nerves."
