"Phra Phai, are you really going to study there? Will you be able to go alone, my child?" A voice of woman over 40 years old asked when her only son walked in and said that he was going to study in Bangkok.
"Mom, Phai is 18 years old. So Phai can take care of himself. Regarding the dormitory fee, Phai will do extra work to pay for himself. Mom, don't worry," A small boy with fine white skin said in a pleading voice.
"Mom doesn't worry about money, Phai, you are my only child, your mother can send you to school. But mother is more worried that you have to go alone," Phra Phai's mother said in a worried tone. Phra Phai squatted down near his mother's lap.
"What did Phai tell you? That Phai is no longer a child, Mom, don't worry about me," the young man begged again. The boy's mother raised her hand and gently stroked her son's head.
"Can you tell me why you want to go to school there?" asked the young boy's mother, curious. Phra Phai paused for a bit before his face turns pale.
"Well... Phai wants to learn about a new society. And then... uh..." Phra Phai looked a little hesitant. Before his mother gave a soft smile.
"Ah, I think I know. If Phai insists on going, Mother will not forbid it. But mother has to see it with her own eyes," Phra Phai's mother said with an understanding smile. But she thinks she already knows making Phra Phai smile widely with happiness.
"I know that my mother will definitely allow me," said the young man confidently because his mother loved him the most.

"Semester break, instead of coming home sometimes, you don't come back at all. That is if mom doesn't call, You wouldn't think of going back, Pakin," The voice of a tall young man sitting in the living room reading a newspaper greeted the young man who had just walked into the house with a slightly irritated voice. Pakin looked at his brother out of the corner of his eye.
"Drink some coffee, it will cool you down first," Pakin said in a calm voice before walking towards the kitchen where his elder brother knew that he taunted him to stop talking and drink his coffee quietly.
"Pakin!!" Pakin's brother shouted in displeasure. But Pakin did not think to continue arguing. He went straight to his mother, who he knew would be in the kitchen right now.
"Hello! Hello, Aunt Salee," Pakin raised his hand to pay respect to his mother and the old house helper who had been with his family for a long time. Both of them were cooking in the kitchen.
"Ah, it's alright, but what's wrong with your brother? We heard a loud noise from the kitchen," Pakin's mother turned and smiled at her son as he walked over and hugged her.
"I don't know," Pakin replied, as calm as usual.
"Have you met your father yet?" Pakin's mother asked causing the young man to remain a little still.
"Not yet," Pakin replied shortly.
"Khun Ras, you can sit and talk to Khun Nu first. I'll do it myself," Aunt Salee humbly said.
"Thank you. Then I will leave it to you," Pakin's mother said back to Aunt Salee with a smile before hugging his son's arm. He walked towards the other living room that was not the living room where the eldest son sat.
