(Next Day)

Yesterday Phra Phai stayed at Pakhin's condo all day long. They helped each other wash clothes and clean the room. Then they sat down to watch TV and eat together as usual. Also, Pakhin let Phra Phai sleep in his dorm room as well. In the morning, they came out to the university together.

"Where do you want to eat?" Brown asked when it was lunchtime.

"At the cafeteria. I have made an appointment with Phai," Pakin replied, looking at his friend's face who smirked at him.

"You're not going to let that kid move away from you, is that so?" Brown asked. Pakin gave a slight smile.

"Have you eaten your brother yet? " Brown continued to ask. Pakin looked at his friend's face blankly.

"I'm not in a hurry like you. Don't think that even if I'm not interested, I'll not know anything. Or I can't see anything," Pakhin teased his friend back sometime. Brown shrugged slightly unfazed.

"I asked you a question first so you answer me," Brown continued.

"I don't want to rush Phai if he isn't ready," Pakin said straightforwardly.

"Oh! Such a Gentleman," Brown teased him again. Pakin smiled slightly and then they walked together to the faculty cafeteria. But halfway, he saw Jima standing and waiting for him. Brown looked slightly at his friend and walked away to let Pakin talk to Ji alone.

"What's wrong Ji?" Pakin asked Ji in a calm voice because he felt a little offended by the girl who went and told his parents first.

"Are you angry with me, Kin?" Ji asked with a sad face.

"And do you think I should be angry?" Pakin asked back.

"I... just wanted to tell them that our wedding might never happen. I didn't mean for you to get scolded for this," Ji said in a trembling voice because she already knew that Pakorn had called him to blame 'cause at that time she was sitting with his brother and crying too.

"Never mind, it can't be fixed," Pakin replied indifferently.

"Kin... Your father and mother have so many expectations from you. You don't have to marry me but you can find a woman. Isn't it better to marry a girl? If your parents find out that you're dating a guy..." Ji tried to change his mind.

"About this matter, I will talk to my parents myself. You don't have to worry," Pakin said in return. He didn't want to let Ji interfere in this matter. The girl froze a bit.

"I'm worried about you Kin. Please. Even though you have never heard of my concerns," the girl murmured.

"I know that you care about me. But I've made my choice," Pakhin repeated. Ji looked at Pakhin with painful eyes. In the matter of Pakin dating other women, her friends warned her a lot but she never paid any heed to them and tried to act indifferent to any of Pakin's partners because she knew very well that Pakin was not serious with them and most importantly, Pakin's family and Ji's have agreed to let Pakin and Ji get engaged as well. So Ji was always confident that she and Pakin must get married.

"Why does it have to be like this?" asked the young woman, her voice trembling. She doesn't understand how Pakhin could like Phra Phai. When did they get close?

"I have to go to the cafeteria. You should go back to your faculty," The girl looked at the tall figure with gloomy eyes before turning and walking away without saying anything more. Pakhin looked tiredly after the young woman and sighed lightly.

Thud...

"Ah...I'm sorry," Phra Phai immediately apologized. Turning around the corner of the building, he bumped into a young woman. But when the two of them looked at each other, Phra Phai was surprised to see that the person he bumped into was Ji and Ji was crying.
