A/N: It's almost been two months, but after weeks of reading and revising, I finally got this finished. This chapter contains brief scenes of violence, so please read with caution. I might change the name of the chapter later on. Also, Happy World Goth Day!

Luna lay down in her bed, staring at the barred surface that was above her. The Bad Guys were sleeping in a room full of bunk beds, and Luna chose to sleep on a bottom one, as she liked it better. She missed her black and red-ruffled bed as well as the black chandelier that hung over her back at the lair. Because this bed was unfamiliar to her, it was going to take some time getting used to it. While everyone else was asleep, she remained awake, with many questions on her mind.

Is Marmalade right? She wondered. Am I better off like this?

While she knew she could go back to how everything was once this was over, she wasn't sure if she could abandon his advice as well. After all, the Bad Guys were just about the only ones who didn't give her looks of contempt or fear about how she presented herself.

She glanced down at the yellow pajama set she was wearing which Marmalade provided for her. Maybe it was time to make some changes.

I don't want to forget myself.

Trying to push those thoughts to the back of her head, Luna closed her eyes, wishing to fall asleep, but not before something else crept up.

"The dream," she whispered to herself. Those voices in the dream I had a year and a half ago...they sound so familiar...and the one who strapped me in...could they be...?

Her eyes widened at this bizarre thought before shaking her head.

No. They can't. It was just a bad dream. I didn't even know them yet. Besides, Marmalade is literally called the world's goodest citizen this year. There's no way he'd do that to me.

She continued to lay there, allowing herself to drift off to the other world.

Luna was laying down in a field, allowing its flowers to encompass her. She looked up at the purple night sky which was lit up with the moon and stars, although some of them were obscured with pink clouds. A waterfall could be heard in the distance, continuing to fill the nearby spring.

She loved this place, and she didn't want to leave. Here, no one could bother her. This field was her own, and she didn't have to listen to anyone else. This was the place where she could have a say over anything.
