A/N: Before you read, I'd like to warn you all that there is a brief violent bullying scene, . As I said before, this is going to get dark. Anyway, please enjoy.

"Just what the hell is this?!"

"Babe, please, relax, it's just a--"

"Oh, it's just a stuffed animal you say? From your ex-girlfriend?"

"So what if it's from my ex? I keep it around because I like it, not because it reminds me of her!"

"I don't care about the reason, it's from your ex, it's gotta go! Either throw it out or donate it!"

"Are you crazy? You're seriously going to lose your shit over something like this?"

"Oh no, now you've gone and said it!"

Luna groaned as the sound of her upstairs neighbors bickering yet again. It was always about petty things, from not washing the darks a particular way to this time, artifacts from previous relationships. It would only be a few minutes before their arguing turned into a full-on screaming match. Who needs an alarm clock when you have deranged neighbors to wake you up?

As much as she wanted to grab her mop and bang the top of the pole against the ceiling while yelling at them to keep quiet, it was best to not make her presence known to them. Not asking if this place was sound-proof was her mistake, even though it also wasn't really her choice.

Oh well, it was only a few minutes before the alarm she set on her phone. She sat up in her bed, rubbing her eyes. She reluctantly hopped off her bed, since she had to get ready for school.

She headed into the bathroom and pulled the shower curtain aside. She reached on to the faucet and turned it on, causing water to come out of it before pulling the latch up, transferring the water to the showerhead. When the water was hot enough, she stepped in, closing the curtain.

Luna let the water cover her entire head, getting all of her shoulder length, midnight-black hair wet. She then took her lemon-scented shampoo off the shower caddy and squirted some into her hand. Flipping her messy bangs back with her other one, she began applying the product to her hair. As she was scrubbing it, she let the hot water run down her back. It was such a nice feeling for her.

Once she was finished, she set the dial to cold before rinsing her hair, watching all the excess go down the drain. She set the temperature back to warm and proceeded to do the same routine with the conditioner. At least taking a shower would help her wake up faster.

After she finished breakfast and brushed her teeth, Luna went back into her room to get changed into her outfit for the day and grabbed her backpack and her purse. She then left her apartment, ran down the stairs and went outside the building, just in time to catch her bus.

Pushing the doors open, Luna reluctantly stepped into the school building. Her ride on the bus was not pleasant. Zachary, one of the quarterbacks for the school's football team, taunted her for most of the time and even threw a bible at her, calling her a demon. She at least had her headphones with her to drown him out. Not that it changed the fact that he made fun of the music she listened to.

As she stepped into the hallway and headed towards her locker, she could hear murmurs and whispers from other students. She was used to this, though. Being picked on for her taste in  gothic clothing and music was nothing new. Some on the other hand, weren't afraid to get under her skin.
