Shorter chapter today! Sorry!
Ah my good people! How wonderful to see you again! I hope you're having a wonderful day and thank you for reading! You guys know how this song and dance goes... Reviews, comments, ideas, feedback and especially constructive criticism, anything really, would help boost motivation to write as well as improve the quality of my writing. And make this a better fanfic for yall to enjoy.
Also an important question! I need an honest and genuine opinion of the pacing, how do you guys feel with how the story is going? To me it feels extremely slow paced. Honestly this first arc would be a tad longer than the others since it is sort of an introduction to the dynamics and all. Even so, an opinion would be appreciated!
Enjoy!

Streets Of Orario
Bell POV
Continuing from my mad dash out of the Hostess, courtesy of Mia-san. We begin to make our way back home, sluggishly passing through the bustling streets of the dungeon city, filled to the brim with people as they return from their dives in the dungeon. An orange tinge coloring the sky as the sun begins to set.
The sheer amount of people in the usual evening of Orario proves to be irritating to our otherworldly pest.
"You know, I expected there to be a lot of people in this city. One dungeon in the world and all. But I mean this much is just ridiculous... Would you like me to thin the herd?" Merlin-sensei comments in exasperation and a bit of awe, casually asking me if I'd like him to commit mass homicide, wiggling his eyebrows at me in suggestion.
" *Sigh* I'll pretend I didn't hear that" I respond with a sigh, and proceed to literally pretend I didn't hear what he said.
"Meh, your lose! I'd be doing you and the economy a favor!" Merlin-sensei grumbles out like an old man. Which he is, just an old dragon. Allegedly.
I merely glare at him in disbelief at how casual he is with ending mortal life.
'Although considering what he is... Isn't that surprising.' I break off my glare by playing the devil's advocate, reaching a simple conclusion in regards to the... Murderous Dragon. Who breaks me out of my thoughts by opening his vile mouth.
"What got your panties in a twist? I was only joking!" Merlin-sensei says teasingly, reinstating that irritating shit eating grin on his face.
"Or was I?" Merlin-sensei continues suddenly, with a spine chilling look and tone. His face betraying no emotion. A look that I missed as, unfortunately for the mischievous Dragon, I decided to completely ignore his comments right after his pathetic and rather unfunny "joke".
Nevertheless, we continue to walk in "silence" towards the destination of home.
-Short Time Skip-
After that little scandal, we reach a street away from the Hearth Mansion. The large gates decorated with our emblem. An emblem of a Bell on fire, symbolizing the Hestia famila's territory and our home. All within our range of sight.
