Part 9

I ran to the portal as fast as I could. Then I ran straight (Luz saids Bi, SHUT UP!) to a small alley of a neighborhood. I had to call my friends (in one of those apps that allow multiple people to talk I guess)to tell them how this place allows magic to work.
"Check to see if the Glyphs work" Amity recommended.
I draw and then the shocking revelation is it does. But then the light explodes in my face.
"Oh definitely. Let's be careful because this place makes them so powerful" I suggest.
"Did You find that demon lady?" Asked Gus.
I remember my visions and dreams. I didn't know what to respond..She can appear any moment..
"N-Not sure..But I have something else. Do you think Delilah will Let me go through?"
"Delilah is dealing with something. She just texted and said She Left her friend Raelle guarding the Temple."
"Oh..Uh ok." I replied. "I'm heading back.
"Good. Because Emira And Edric are Kinda getting on my Nerves " Amity uttered.
"I'm sorry-" I nearly choked.
"ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS!" I hear Them shout in the Background.
Then funny enough..I heard Alador their father join them.
"EEE-" Amity sounded like she freak. "I gotta go! See y'a Hunter! Odalia is coming. I for sure can't let her know about any of this."
I understood why she had to hang up. Odalia and Alador were getting a Divorce (or more like Alador liked Darius anyway) and not to mention again, She sold us out to Belos and Was Abusive and neglectful to her kids. Amity and her siblings were trying to rebuild their relationship with their father, since for a while he was an enabler.
"Meet me back in the owl House asap. I might have an idea what this might be."
"Tell us"
"It's too much. I will. I Just..I used envy.."
"What?!" The ones in the call say.
"I- look-"
"Hunter!" Willow spoke up, "what we're you thinking?! You're ..Made out of wood..How did you not get burnt? Or- you know..Soul Destroyed?"
"It's a prophecy"
"Oh no!" Moaned Luz.
"Oh yeah"
"Hunter..Isn't that a prophecy..From a Demoness?.." Gus sincerely asked.
He had a point. I got too rash. I didn't think that this Demoness probably wasn't the same. But then again, it was probably no better. It's like those dreams of hee fled through my mind. I didn't even know her. Never spoke or seen her..But I think Caleb did..
"Oh yeah. It's a handful. I—"
"Hunter..are you ok?" Asked Willow.
"I- Of course I am! I just need to find my way. If I'm suspected. Not sure how to fight Angels."
"Quick. We'll be waiting" Willow told me.
"Shoot. Shoot" I saw as I realized I forgot what tree it was.

I Heard The Slithering of a Snake..
I did the only thing I thought was right. I stepped on it. It hissed. Not thinking it would have bitten my foot.
"Great! Now I-"
I felt someone Grab me and yank me hard.
"AH!-"
"Hey Hey Sorry it's me!" It was Momi.
"What?! I I-"
"Look. I'm getting in trouble. So you better listen to me now"
"What?" I whispered.
"I..I know you went to see the demon envy" She seriously eyed me.
"NO I-" I was about to say but then realized I was carrying the stone.
"Yeah," muttered Momi.
"You..How the heck were you able to do that?"
"I just asked"
"Just asked," she frowned, "What the heck were you thinking? The war doesn't need a prophecy. The- look. That thing was for one person and one person only."
"Who?"
She looked at me.
"There is this story about a man who friended our empress when we came to the angel realm. He was said to fallen in love with a witch from the demon realm. He-"
"Had a brother. That brother explored with him in the Angel and Demon realm" I say.
"Yeah.." She Said.
"Would That man be..Cal-
"SHHH!" She tells me. "No never. Never say that name."
I found it strange that I personally couldn't say that.
"There Is a reason why that Man isn't believed in. Why his wife—"
"Evelyn," I sighed.
"What?" She asked. Genuinely surprised.
"The witch's name was Evelyn."
"How..How do You know that? We never knew-"
"Don't be scared. But-" I take off my hood.
Momi went dark.
"Don't tell anyone"
"OOOH! I never met a witch!" She squeaked.
"Don't worry. You can trust me."
"Yeah I know. You know Delilah De meth. I know she's a human. Powers to bid demons?"
"UH..yep!" She awkwardly smiled.
"Why did you say you're getting in trouble?"
"My Dad Kokiabel. He doesn't want me falling into the demon's traps..He doesn't want me falling into certain human traps.."
I listened.
"Ever since The Angel Realm chose Delilah and her friends..everyone got nervous. The Angels of Mastema definitely had their suspicions. We didn't think The demon Abezethibou would Cover for Typhras.."
"Yeah" I stuttered. I remember the manipulation back in the Demon realm. It almost made me sad, the Angel realm is completely different from The demon realm ..But the similarities were the saddest ones. In fact, I'm not sure to say who has it worse. A type of Pantheism Worked over there. King's father was more like these angels. If the star people had the power to kill off His kind..And they were being affected..I didn't want to meet this demon in person. But I had to. I need to. For my realm, for the human realm. For this one.
"Oh my! Oh no" Momi went dark,
"You figured this out Through Delilah. Didn't you?"
"Yeah"
"The demon and Angel realm are coming together. They never do. There must be a bigger threat..Maybe like Epiphas but the last time a witch and human were pulled-"
Her eyes shrank.
"Oh no" she whispered. Her eyes went completely dark and teared.
"That means Elburion. Elburion. Goodness." She started to mumble. "He loves her. He loves her and his friends"
Uttering words I couldn't make clear.
I looked down..There was a rainbow snake biting its vangs into her.
"He is bringing the old rulers back. The ruthless rulers to distroy the angels. Epiphas will rise again"
"HEY!" I screamed. I kicked the serpent one more time.
"GET OFF!"
It hissed at me and Fled away. I wished I had my staff..I would have enough power to burn it.
"What?!" Gasped Momi, her eyes clear.
"What happened?"
"That serpent was biting you"
"Serpent? Was it a demon or Angel?"
"IM-" I took a deep breath. "I'm not sure."
"Huh..that's strange Seraphim snakes are rare to attract.."
"What?"
"I didn't think they would work on me. I don't know how it did. But Hunter, You can't let this be known to The Angel realm just yet"
"What?! Why? How do you-"
"Hunter. My sisters and I tried to convince the Angel Mastema to help us with the prophecy. She refused coldy and my mother nearly struck her down"
"Oh goodness.."
"Yeah, for So long we survived victimhood. It took us a long time just to make this part of the realm like this. Hunter, they'll do anything to make it return the way it was." Her eyes finally showed she was a terrifying Orphanim angel.
"Tell Delilah, tell anyone who knows about this to take heart..To get their minds ready. If you need anything, if any of you guys are being affected, My family and I will be ready to aid in any way"
"...Yeah..Yeah. Say do you know about the Star people?"
Momi got nervous,
"Oh Yeah. Oh no. It's not good if they are getting affected. Who? Who is the Star person that is getting affected?"
"His name is The collector" I peaked around, "we'll meet up. All of us. Really. We will exchange some people to stay over."
"What? No -"
"Something is happening in three days or weeks. A witch Sabbath. I think the demons are attacking the demon realm. It will get dangerous over there."
"You..have a point. Things have been pretty silent up until recently. How are you sure the Collector is ready to come here?"
"He won't be much of a problem. He's a child."
"A- oh! Aww! Yeah for sure my Dad can't say no! Mom wouldn't care, And besides we're fine with being santuracy anyway. It's what my Mom had the house for."
"Heh, the demon realm would think you're insane" I say.
"Modern people in general would think we're insane, but hey, when so many people are hurt each day. And your Mother is a powerful Angel able to Bid TWO Original ruthless Rulers. I think it's safe to say we're the best option in town"
"Ah-"
Ok, I was Now fine with that.
"Ok great, How-"
"Here-" she handed me a card, "Thank goodness I keep to assure everyone they can hide with us"
"Awsome!" I say. "We'll stay in touch, Thank you"
"I should say the same for you..Again, you..You remind me of someone"
"That sounds nice. I think I know who you're speaking about."
Then my phone rang,
"Willow"
"Is That a girl you like?"
I got red, "How-"
She shrugged with a sly face, "Talent I learned from Joel. Don't tell her that though."
I answered, "Hey, we have new plans. Do you know if Amity is free now? She's good with kids"
