"I'm mean it Edalyn! I was thinking, who and what do we do know that we know Angels exist? Do we tell Mom and Dad, do we-"
Eda thought her sister overthought things like always. Some things just never change.
Her Raven Palisman Shrugged at her
"I KNOW!" She Exclaimed.
I guess Eda liked the fact some things didn't.
Then for some reason she moved on to something so related,
"I also been Trying to work on my Harpy form-"
Blah blah. She walked to the other room.
Hooty came to Eda.
"Hoot. Is this how she processes things?" He whispered.
"Hoo!" Owlbert came to Eda.
"Pretty much" Eda sighed as she picked up Owlbert.
Then she heard a knock on the door.
She opened it,
"RAINE?!"
It was Raine whispers.
"Hi" they awkwardly smiled. Eda's Non-binary friend and past partner or Ex.
"Raine! I oh-"
"Un Eda. You've been quiet. And Hunter's got Amber, Kayta, and Derwin confused."
"AH-"
"Yeah. He hasn't appeared to take Violin lessons. Is he with Luz and the others?"
"Ah-"
Eda at that moment didn't know what to say.
"...Edalyn?" Raine raised their eyebrow.
"I-He- He"
"He..What?" They asked. Lilith came, "Ah Raine! Hello!"
"Lilith?"
"Yes! Come in come in!" She tells them.
Eda wanted to sneer at her sister "not now"
"I thought you were staying with your mother what are you?.."
Raine Fox Palisman transformed And Layed on them, "What are you doing here?..."
Lilith and Eda nervously looked at eachother.
"Look..it's been complicated." Eda saids.
"What has?" They asked
"We-.."
Eda looked at her sister's reassuring look. Lilith was saying "yes, they could be trusted. You don't push them away anymore."
Eda chuckled. "Um Well-"
Eda and Lilith both explained everything.
Raine was mouth dropped like they just heard the Two of them were about to commit arson.
"...Yeah.." Eda awkwardly smiled, "That's why-"
"Hold up!" Raine cut her off. "hold-"
Raine Growled as they held their noise in frustration and rubbed their head.
Then they began to laugh.
"Are freaking kidding me?"
"Nope" Lilith said as all the their Palisman huddled together.
"I- I can't believe this! So- So all this time. Some..Other little girls, Like Luz..We're basically  making this EASIER For us?!"
"Yepp.." Eda and Lilith both snuck in the couch.
"Wha- wha-" Raine was trying to hard not to loose their sanity.
"Wha- NO! We came back from the Day of unity! And Now We have to deal with however these guys are!?"
"Don't worry Raine," Lilith added, "We've met some Angels. They are equally upset we couldn't eve have interactions before. They are kind. Their accepting of things. Much like us."
Eda smiled at that..
"Ok" Sighed Raine, "Well..You guys better keep me in touch in case something goes down. I'm not sure about you sending off the kids. But, for sure, I trust you guys. If this other realm is bad news and is coming to us..We'll do anything to help"
"Yeah, Hunter Already to Darius as Well"
"Aw man!" Raine complained, "Darius knew too?"
"Yeah.." Muttered Lilith.
"Well ok!" Raine finally placed their hands to their sides like at this point they have up. "Ha! What do you know? Angels? Biding demons? I'm not surprised"
"Me neither I-" Lilith was about to look at her phone, until she flipped back.
"What?! What happened? Is It the angels?"
Panicked Raine.
"Stupid Flora D'splora is always posting in Hexagram about how much of wonderful life she is having!"
"Yeah that's not happening for anyone" Frowned Raine.
"What?! She even Got Kikimora, Terra, Adrian, and all the rest of the Stupid criminal Coven heads taking photos with her! I will have my Vengeance" She growled.
Eda and Raine Palm faced. Lilith started bickering as she left the room. Raine rubbed their eyes.
"Hey can we speak a little more?" They asked Eda,
Pulling her to the side.
"Uh..sure ..what's- what's up?" She asked.
"Eda..I must confess something."
That made Eda nervous.
"It's been bothering me for a while...Uh.."
Eda patiently Listened..
"Derwin, Kayta, and Amber..Their Orphans..They tried to get in contact with their Biological families..But all of them either can't be found or are.."
"Dead?" Eda added.
Raine gently nods..
"They tried to have foster or adopted families in the past but were unsuccessful. They found me..I agreed to let them stay..Like I'm their Parent"
"That..Raine..that is very sweet of you..why would that bother you?" Eda asked them.
"It's because Well..I like being around them yes. I'm just not sure if I can be a parent. I let them stay in my house..But I can't handle it on my own"
Eda began to blush.
"What are You saying?"
"Look..I don't want to pressure anything on you or anything like that!" Raine spoke up, "I don't know if all love stories end in people getting married..But after releasing how much they like you, Luz, Hunter, and the rest of the kids you got close to..Them almost being adults very soon..."
Eda was surprised when they got on their knees.
"I was wondering if I could move in..with you. Even if it's just for a bit. After all, with this whole thing with Day of Unity and Angelic wars..I think it's time to give them this. With me. With us."
Eda was shocked at this. "Raine.."
"Eda? Look I get it. Either way, I'm still telling them the truth-"
Eda lifted raine up.
"Hey. Can I kiss you again?" She asked them. Raine blushed a bit and cleared their throat, "Yes?-"
Eda did.
"Of course you can live here. Of course you can bring the kids."
Raine was Now even shocked, "Uh ok great!"
Eda gave a cheeky Grin and was about to say something cringy to express her love.
Lilith came running and Adjusted her purse,
"Alright! Hootsifer and I are going out!"
"Hoot! See y'a Raine', See y'a Eda!"
"Ok! Hey, Raine is moving in!" Eda cheered.
"Oh! That's great!" Lilith said, "Be back from the store, I'm making my special sauce" she opened the door and Closed it behind her.
"Special sauce?" Raine asked.
"Yeah, she wants to sell food at her exhibit she plans on making"
"Ah" Raine noted.
"Also, Did I ever Tell you?" Eda Asked Raine.
"Tell me What?"
"I've been married before" She casually said without thinking.
"What-"
"Oh Yeah. For only Six Hours because I ripped the marriage license and certificate to this Guy in the human realm . I stole his car and money-."
