I was basically gonna ditch the whole place. I did not sleep well because of Night terrors and Well, things in general.
"Good morning. You look Awful" Delilah told me.
For some Reason I thanked her, Drank water, and tumbled onto the couch once more before I felt like Drop kicking her. So as you tell, no, I didn't feel like checking anything. I asked myself so many questions.
Why the heck is Caleb so important? Why the heck did Belos like The Demoness when he hated witches? It makes no sense. Plus, why in the world would Demons want to Conquer the human world when they have their own realm? Why did I not freak out more with the revelation of Waffles being Flapjack's sister? And so on.
"Hunter, you Good?" Raelle as me as she brushed her hair.
"Yep" I lied. Still face flat on the couch with a thumbs up. Ok, maybe my feelings were mixed at the moment. I forgot one question really in my Mind, who spoke to King in his dreams?...
"Hello!"
"Rise and Shine!" Bazazeth and Imaeth speak up, once again on the window upside down. Angels are terrifying, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
"AHHHH!" I screamed.
"Stop doing that!"
"Oop- heh"
"Sorry!" They chuckled.
"So, what's the news?" Asked Pom. Adjusting her coat.
"Well, We we're Called by Gabriel and Jophiel. We won't be attending you guys as you look for this demonic presence" Imaeth Told us.
"Ok Yeah, Had a dream last night. I might be On to Asmodeus..He took human Disguise."
I was gonna Say how she had a Dream and woke up the way she did. But I digressed.
"What does he look like?-" Asked Tayla.
"Ah-" Raelle cleared her throat.
"I hardly saw him, But..Let's just Say I'm more Shocked of Sarah than him?"-
"What's That supposed to mean?-"
She got red. Shook her head and then cleared her throat again.
"Doesn't matter. I'll meet you guys outside."
She grabbed the Keycard and ran out.
"..what was that all about?" Asked Lorcan.
"Isn't Like, Asmodeus..Like a Prince? Wouldn't it-" I felt myself go Dark.
"He..He was Behind the scenes during the Reign of Typhras..He was on his side..wasn't he?" I looked at everyone.
"..Yeah..He was." Gulped Tayla.
"Nearly..Pushed me off A Cliff.."
That went quickly.
The angels got nervous and then it became a little awkward.
"Yeah, well... Even With that, It's rare to Find demons like Him. Joel and Gabriel wanted us to help them find the Location of This..I guess, it's called "The south" But we're taking it with a Grain of Salt. All we know is that The demon Kilikim is led by a Ruler there." Bazazeth tells us.
"Oh gosh, no No" We all moaned.
"Oh yeah, whatever is happening. I think it's pretty obvious it's a hierarchy, ready to Pin us down any moment" Affirmed Imaeth.
"So..wait" I thought about it, "You are saying that there are these Hierarchies. And that Devils fall under certain categories. Some easier and harder..Wait, You said The seven rulers were the most powerful?"
"Yep" They all say.
I thought about it more..I gasped.
"Oh My! Delilah, Typhras was a Leader one right? Basically the Top powerful right?"
Her ring began to vibrate..
"Yeah..Yeah" She nervously replied.
"GUYS!" I finally say. Looking into my Bag and taking out the notes.
"Don't you see? These hierarchies! They are based on which demons of the temples were The more Harder to bind"
"...OH MY-" Pom snatched my thing.
"HEY!"
"HUNTER! You're right! That would Explain-"
"Yeah, that would Explain why The demon I frustrated is hardest to catch. He destroys the temple.." Bazazeth crossed his arms.
"Ah - Great. Just when I started building it" Swallowed Delilah.
Pom gave me back my Notes. And ran over to write things of her own.
"What else is there?" She asked.
The angels looked at each other.
"Well..Be careful when stepping into the Fire where the souls are..It can take a toil on you." Sighed Bazazeth.
"And Whatever You do, never Touch them, especially if they are too deep." Imaeth added.
"What?! That's it?" I gaped.
They nodded their heads. And in a flash of light, leave.
"...Wait, hold up. Last night they wanted us to look for Asmodeus I think. Why the heck bring up the south? Does it have anything to do with him?" I say.
"It's like this all the time, Hunter" Sighed Delilah.
"Angels can't reveal much because Any information we carry can be used against us. That's why, we minus well find out"
I was gonna say something, protest, but then I lost what those words were gonna be
"You'll get used to it. But yeah, it's frustrating" shrugged Pom.
"Guys, you know what that means?" I say.
All of them were out to leave through the door, but looked back.
"What?.." Asked Delilah.
"That means if We take Down The Demoness, We take Down the Whole Army."
