Part 19

Heads up, I was nervous. Like very very nervous, to the point I had to make sure I was gonna full on panic. I haven't realized how much the Day of unity really took a toil on me. Let alone with all my friends. Yet here I was, with kids I barely met. Yet now knowing there were other races of demons wanting to destroy the whole Universe. I'm sure you understand why I tried to keep myself together.
What made it better (or worse, ok a Bit more the worst side) is I got another freaking memory. There I see the blurry Empress lady.
"Is it ok if I?" She asked me, showing her powers, "It heals you. It goes very fast"
"Uh. Sure" I replied, feeling a headache and bruise.
Then she gently Touched my forehead. It actually burnt a bit. "ow!" I say. She lets go, "Oh My Bad!"
Then it switches,
"I will Talk do my fellow Helpers anyway to get you back home." She told me.
"Khammael!"  whispered another woman.
"Excuse me!" The empress Told me.
Then it flashed again.
"Oh my Gosh, Balthial. You can't just say-"
"Khammael, I do not trust the seven. You know How manipulative they can get. This Man he may be bad news"-
"He isn't like that! For goodness sakes-"
The two of them bickering.
I, Caleb got myself up to be noisy and peak.
The two of them screeched. I tried not to fall back. Freaking out as I head back to where I was sitting.
"Whatever!" Khammael tells Balthial.
"I-"
Then I heard a little Girl.
"Mommy?"
"Khammael, I only warn you"
"Momma!"
"Oh Momi, sweetie, Please. Not right now."
She tells her.., "Please, go back to your sisters. I'll be right there"
"See?" The angels tell the Empress, "Now you got my daughters worried. Don't process any warning I give to you lightly ."
Khammael sighed, "Good day, Balthial."
She opened the door.
"Oh apologies!" She nervously chuckled.
I felt glad she kept her distance, "My friend tends to get a little suspicious over ..People. Look but don't worry!"
"Oh uh.." I scoot myself more,
"Sorry, did I start something?"
Khammael was taken back from that, like the few words could break her.
"What?! No no! You didn't start anything, look, whatever! In the meantime write letters to Evelyn and Philip! Mind your business! Be thankful we-"
I felt myself Shocked. She rubbed her eyes.
"Look, Caleb Wittebane.. Our lives are pretty hard. But, I just want to make it clear. Don't be all, you know, don't try to see us as Graveling at your feet oh so great Puritan"
"Ouch" I say.
The Angel sighed, "Balthial will trust you in her own time. Trust Me" she muttered, ". But for now, All I ask is for you to trust us."
"...Uh..Ok..Yeah Yeah, ok. No problem" I Say.
"Goodbye Caleb." She tells me, "Dear, Oh have the Heavens sulk"
Then I get back.
I felt that personally. I did truly think Khammael did care for Caleb. I also felt a little bad, and I wonder if as the empress people would certainly raise an eyebrow to why she has a human man around. Let alone if he already had a partner. Yet she felt more sisterly and not even hinting at anything. Which was good, because Caleb had Evelyn. I guess it's because It's hard to have relationships when Seven tyrants are in the heavens. Looking back, now I see why Caleb was targeted by the Demoness. He brought a Threat to the Empire in some way, which means he was a threat to Very Entitled Demonesses. Way more ridiculous when you think about it. . So me? 16-17 year old who hasn't even graduated and yet still on the fence of everything in my life, need to figure out what is what? Yeah this is all definitely not a burden. No hard feelings or pressure from freaking angels or demons. Congrats! They found their man!
"Hunter, watch out!" Pom told me before I walked into a bus stop.
"Woah! Sorry! Black out!" I embarrassedly say.
"You had another vision?" She asked
"Uh, yeah I did"
She kept searching for the demon.
Fyi, no it did not look like a tracker in any way. Just a Floating necklace.
"..Are you sure that's how you sense demonic presence?"
"Yes? Look It's the most powerful one we have"
"Most power-"
"Hunter, Do you recall any memories of Philip?" Asked Raelle.
"...Nope." I say.
"Ah great, So wait. When he summoned the
Demons, Caleb was also in the dark about it? He was never suspicious, not even one bit?" Added Lorcan
I don't know why I felt so taken by that. I guess I really was recovering some "Calebness" (no please, don't ask why I phrase it like that) If I were a orphan grown up to be told demons and witches are all bad, then find out they are harmless, then Find out my little brother who I loved and raised my whole childhood was playing with the ones who weren't harmless. I probably want to forget that too.

"That really goes to show..I wouldn't be surprised if I find out Philip dated all the demons, if not the male ones too" saids Aradia.
"Shut up" I Muttered under my breath. Another kick in the gut, I'm basically The embodiment of a 1600  Puritan bisexual man, I didn't know if I was more insulted by Philip or what Aradia said. Both.
"Sounds like Masha's dream journal"
Delilah commented.
"Can we just focus?" I say. But I had to admit I felt like everything here was cringe and not surprising as well. Still insane, but still.
"Well, Doesn't matter. Because it's all just ew. Yuck. Plus, I Rather just Find out if Asmodeus is around, before things harder. Before the souls come." She tries to see if the "tracker" was pulling harder
"Where are they anyway?" Asked lorcan
Then we froze..I'm sure we all got chills in our spine...As we looked down.
There I saw them..the souls..walking like their in world. Angels right there guarding and protecting them..
"Oh my- I need to puke" Delilah gulped. Then she gasped.
There she focuses on two Souls..
"What?! Delilah..those are" Raelle was gonna say.
Delilah sighed. These two girls were in flames..along with what looked to be gang bangers.
Delilah got on her knees.
"Well..tsk..Hello again, Theodosia and Shipton"
Both were tied up by the flames in their mouth..Yet then angry when they saw Delilah.
"Uh..guys" Nervously Lorcan said..the flames
started getting closer.
"Can you still curse me now? Or did you guys curse yourself?" Delilah sighed
The girls growled and Then began to laugh.
Delilah went dark, "...You guys knew..you guys knew"
They kept laughing. Their memories coming back of them summoning The Demoness and Abusing Delilah
"..Delilah" Raelle tried to say.
Delilah growled.
"You..Sinners"
"DELILAH NO!" I screamed. All of us freaked out. Too late.
She Took out her ring and Bud them with it. The two girls screeched in their flames and went deeper.
Delilah was panting. Tearing up and sniffing.
"They'll be fine. It's merciful their even here's
"YOU TOUCHED THEM!" Screamed Pom. She panicked.
"Oh gosh, oh gosh, bad, bad bad bad!" Taking out hee things to scramble to her notes  "Let's see if-". Then her necklace tugs tightly.
"HE'S HERE!" Screamed Aradia.
Then a New flame appeared. A screeching demon pulled Aradia.
"OW!"
Lorcan tried to help by taking out a sword, but the shadow of The beast whacked him down. "OW! Dang!" He dusted himself.
Pom looked and she was taken by the neck,
"WATER!" She choked.
Delilah took out a spray bottle and Sprayed it. The demon roared.
"You carry that?!" I say.
"Yeah, it's for demon cats"
Before I can ask. Delilah was smacked to a mailbox.
"OOF!"
"HUNTER! Watch out!" She yelled.
I teleported.
"HM?!" Catching the demon off guard.
Then Raelle came in. Taking an Incantation with a Water spray, and Used his claws this time.
"OW!" It only hit her back a bit. She still managed to hit him
"OW!" He roared. The Incantations holding him down somewhat.
"Enough with the-" he gasped when he saw Raelle.
He stopped in his shadow form. His 3 heads transform into a Man with long red hair in a business suit.
"..Clementine?" He asked.
"No, I'm Raelle..Clementine was my Mother."
"..."
"Please! I know
Your Asmodeus " She tried to say.
"We can-"
The demon growled, "Liar" Then broke free to attack her once more.
