Michiru didn't even need to open her eyes to know she had woken up way earlier than she needed to. Her alarm had not gone off yet, and the room seemed very dark. It was probably nowhere near the time she needed to get up at.

Michiru pulled the covers closer, only to be met by resistance. She opened her eyes to see the problem. Apparently she had a visitor. And said visitor was stealing most of her blankets.

Now, the main question Michiru had was why on earth was Yachiyo in her bed. She had never discussed this before. And she hadn't been woken up to even get permission either.

That made Michiru a bit suspicious, but what was she supposed to do about it. It would be a bit cruel to wake her up and kick her out when it was not too long until morning. There was a high chance she wouldn't fall back to sleep then.

So, Michiru resigned to the fact that she had company. But she really would appreciate having her sheets back. She was getting cold. But, try as she might, Yachiyo was not giving them up.

Michiru sighed. Well, she had only two options now. Either she suffered and slept in the cold, or she just had to get really close to them to get under the blankets too. The second option honestly didn't sound too bad.

Michiru didn't really know when things had changed between them, but they had. Yachiyo seemed to find her a lot more often now. And most of the teasing and flirting Yachiyo did was now solely directed at her. Michiru wasn't minding all the attention she was getting from her kohai. It was quite welcome.

But, what did that all mean? Why was Yachiyo suddenly acting that way? Did... did Yachiyo like her? Did she have a crush on Michiru?

Michiru felt her heart start pounding in her chest at that thought. Yachiyo liking her wasn't exactly a new idea, but it still made her feel weird. At one point every edel was rumored to be dating Yachiyo due to her notorious behavior around them. Michiru had her share of the rumors.

And they were back again since Yachiyo had started all of this new stuff with her. Michiru just couldn't wrap her head around that thought actually being true. What would she do if that was the case? Did she... did she like Yachiyo?

Sure, she would admit they were close, but was that because she also liked her? Or was it a more familial reason? Michiru had no idea. She didn't think she'd mind if they started dating, but did that give her enough of an answer to confirm her feelings?

Michiru was lost. She sighed and shook the thoughts out of her head. Seeing as how long this stuff had been going on for now, Michiru had her doubts. Maybe Yachiyo just liked messing with her? She... did give some pretty big reactions.

Yachiyo knew how to get her to react now. How that girl had learned those things was still beyond Michiru. No one else knew how to break her composure. Now that Michiru thought it over, maybe Yachiyo was getting to her because she did like her.

Unfortunately, that still wasn't enough for Michiru to feel confident in an answer. She could ponder it later. She should really try and get back to bed.

So, she carefully shifted closer to Yachiyo. She moved just enough so that the covers were over her again. It was still a lot closer than Michiru would like. Her heart was still pounding, increasing as she got closer to Yachiyo.

Michiru took a few deep breaths to try and calm herself. She needed to go back to bed. Her heart couldn't keep going like that. She'd never get to sleep if that kept up.
