Koharu knew that last night she had fallen asleep alone. There was nothing in her bed. So... why did she feel a heavy weight right in front of her as she woke the next morning?
She opened her eyes a crack to find that the cause of the weight was a person. Her girlfriend, to be exact. Well, one of them, anyway. The other one probably wasn't too far away.
"Good morning, Koharu!"
"Suzu...?" Koharu questioned in confusion.
Suzu smiled at her, "Yep! Me and Hisame wanted to surprise you cause you've seemed really stressed recently."
"Then where is Hisame?"
"Making breakfast. She sent me to wake you up."
Koharu rubbed her eyes and slowly sat up. Suzu was immediately plastered against her side and pampering her with kisses all over her face. Koharu was too much still asleep to protest the action much. Suzu knew that. She did this so often whenever they would have a sleepover. Koharu was quite used to it by now.
Even if she was used to it, that didn't mean she was very enthused by it. She grumbled in displeasure to make it known she wasn't in the mood for that much affection right now. Normally both of them would take the hint and stop. However, that seemed to bolden Suzu instead. What was her deal today? Was this what she meant by surprise? Koharu was starting to wonder if that was what it was.
"Get off of me..." Koharu groaned in annoyance, "I thought you were here to get me up."
Suzu pouted at her, "Can't I spoil my girlfriend?"
"Not this early in the morning." Koharu grumbled again as she slid off the bed and went to grab something more presentable to wear today.
Suzu kept up her pout as Koharu changed. Koharu bit back yelling at her to leave. Suzu had seen her in way less decent ways before. And she probably wouldn't leave that easily. At least she had the decency to turn around as Koharu changed.
"What is Hisame making?" Koharu tried to start a conversation to hopefully distract Suzu from pouncing on her again.
"Hmm... I think she said pancakes but I could be wrong." Suzu replied.
"Is Sakura here or did she leave?"
"She had to go meet with some friends. We're all alone today."
Koharu walked to the door, "Let's go."
Suzu nodded and happily followed behind her. They arrived at the kitchen to find that Hisame was already done making breakfast. She greeted the two of them.
"Good morning, Koharu." Hisame kissed her on the cheek, "I hope Suzu wasn't too forceful..."
"No. Surprisingly." Koharu replied, "Annoying? Yes."
"Oh? That's new. Normally it's both."
Suzu let out a huff. They both looked to see her pouting at them. Hisame ignored her antics and continued finishing up with breakfast. She was almost done setting everything down. She could deal with Suzu later on.
Koharu met Suzu's gaze for a moment. Suzu faltered with her pout. Koharu walked over to her slowly. Suzu seemed to be expecting a scolding for her actions earlier. It wouldn't be the first time Koharu had done that and told her to tone down her affection. Without warning, she hugged Suzu instead of saying anything. Suzu let out a squeak at the sudden action. That got Hisame's attention.
