Synopsis: The five edels were just trying to enjoy a nice day out

--------------

The Edels had decided to go out for a walk seeing as they had nothing else to do today. It was a nice day out. Might as well try to spend it outside while they had the chance to. With how busy they tended to be, this was becoming more and more rare to be able to do.

It had been a nice walk. They had run into some of their friends from the other schools along the way. It seemed they were the only ones that had the same idea. And then they got split up. Mei Fan had drug Yachiyo away to go look at something and that turned into a whole ordeal. Shiori went to go try to retrieve them from wherever they had ended up a little bit later. That left just Akira and Michiru doing what the original intention of the outing had been.

They were mostly silent, occasionally commenting on some things they had seen. No one had wanted to talk much about school or anything of that nature. It was time for a break from all of that.

"Well, if it isn't you..." Someone interrupted their peaceful walk.

Michiru and Akira both knew who this person was immediately and that was not a good thing. Michiru stepped a little bit in front of Akira.

"What do you want?" She glared at the girl in front of her.

"Nothing. Just thought I'd say hi to the freak and its buddy." The girl replied.

"Leave her the fuck alone." Michiru was not having it.

"Why? I'm allowed to talk to that thing if I want to. Not my fault you think a boy can ever be a girl."

Akira was getting more and more uncomfortable as the conversation went on. She tried to speak, but her voice didn't want to work. She couldn't even try to defend herself from this girl.

"If you don't leave her alone, it won't end well for you." Michiru threatened.

"As if a pipsqueak can do anything to me." The girl taunted in reply.

"Can I punch her for you?"

The three other girls had returned at last. Mei Fan had been the one to ask that question, glaring daggers at the girl. All of them knew something about this. Akira hadn't exactly hid it from them after they got closer. They all were well aware she was trans as well as the fact there were quite of lot of old classmates who despised her because of that.

The girl seemed a bit more intimidated now that there were more people here. She spat something unintelligible out at them and them stalked off. Everyone watched her fade into the distance.

"Bitch." Michiru cursed at her.

"You alright, senpai?" Yachiyo asked.

"I... I'm fine." Akira replied, sounding just slightly shaken up.

"Come on, let's go finish up. Wanna try that new restaurant that opened?" Michiru directed the conversation away from the incident.

"Ooh, can we?" Mei Fan asked excitedly.

"It looked like a really cool place." Shiori added.

They started walking again. Akira was calming down now. She was glad they weren't making that big of a deal over what had happened. Then again, this wasn't the first time they had witnessed an incident with a transphobe like this before. Arguably, this one had been pretty tame. Maybe they were all just getting way too used to dealing with these types of situations.
