On The Land of Knowledge and Conflict[ENG]

When it's all started.

It's late at night at the dorm. Still, you studying for your exams under the warm, softly buzzing light of your desk lamp. Your desk is completly littered with books, notes, paperworks and notebooks, even your cup of coffee is just sitting on top of a notebook. Your head just swinging slowly down and back up while trying to stay awake. Even for just one more hour, just to finish studying. Outside is a really big thunder storm. Rain pouring down from the sky like it's no tomorrow, ear-torturing thunders and lightnings lighting up the otherwise pitch-black night sky. 

    <You> ,,What the hell even is this mushroom, i'm sure i saw it somewhere." you exhale a big sigh, then a yawn You are really tired, it's almost 3 AM, so close yet so far from finishing. You just need this mushroom, the rest of it is just animals, that one will be easy for you. 

 You wondering who could help you at this hour. Collei? Nah, sadly that would be so little help, not to mention she probably asleep. Hmm...Tighnari? Maybe. You were caught him once to being awake at this late. You turn up your phone, and see that he was online around half an hour ago. Almost begin to text him, but then you rememberd, he had an injury not long ago. You dont know what hapened, he just texted you that he will be away at the hospital due to an accident and that you dont have to worry. Since you two were in the same class, you were taking notes for him as well during this time, without him asking you to do it. You two were really close friends after all, it was the least you can do. Even though this resoulted of not being able to visit him, which is pretty funny, 'couse his room is next to yours. You two even had a little morse code thingy: when one of you wanted to sneak to the other, you two would knock a pattern on the wall, in case that the phone is for whatewer reason not close. At thint, you are so tired, you just put your phone and your head down. Thinking, it wont hurt if you snooze a little. Just a neeny-tiny break. Than you suddenly hear a muffled thump from outside. You were not so sure, but you could swear it was from Tighnari's room. 

    <You> ,,So he really is awake huh." you thought ,,He probably can't handle this loud thunder storm. And it doesn't seem to end soon."And just as you thinking about that, another loud thunder, than an even bigger lightning strikes near to the dorm. It was so loud, you coverd your ears out of fear and annyoyance. Honestly, you can't blame him for not tolerating this. A peaceful little rainstorm on a hot summer day/night is fine. But that thunderstorm...ugh, it's just a nighmare. Then you hear your phones notification. It's Tighnari. So he IS awake indeed. 

    <Tighnari, text> ,,Hey, uh... <Y/N> can i go to you? This damn storm just finished off my light... and i would also have some questions about your notes..." You read it, but don't understand, first of, how can JUST his light go off, and secound, he had a little wireless lamp, you knew becouse you saw it many times. This is a weak excuse, but you text back. 

    <You, text> ,,Hi, of course, come in, and... i also have some questions, if you have the energy for it." There is no reply, instead Tighnari is already knocking on your door softly, but loud enough for you to hear it. 

    <You> ,,Come in, it's not locked!" You said, while already making a cup of tea for him. He then comes in with a book and a notebook in his hand, he looks like he has been tortured, well practicly he was. By the loud noises. Those big fluffy ears are a blessing and a curse at the same time. Also it looks like he tucked something in his ears, but he picked it out and tossed into his pocket, after all, with those in, he could not hear you. 

    <You> ,,One hell of a storm huh? I can't blame you for hateing it." You gesturing with your hand towards the bad while saying that. 

He just opens the courtain on your bunk-bed (originaly it's a room for 2 person, but you don't have roommate) that you made to be a some sort of safe-heaven to you, with the courtains blocking the light and muffleing the noises, and sits on the puffy-fluffy blanket of yours, eyes on the ground, not a word. That's strange. Other times he would rant about the loudness and stuff. He put the books on his side, while you bring your chair next to the bed. With the books on it, there is no room for you to sit. Tighnari look up from the ground to your face, for a secound he don't say anything. Trying to stay cool, but another loud crash of lightning breaks this invisible shield. His eyes widened for a moment and from the tip of his tail to te top of his ears he shivered. He hoped that you don't saw, but he's wrong. You look into his terror-filled eyes, now realising it's more than the loud noises. Something was happened while he was back at home.
