On The Land of Knowledge and Conflict[ENG]

The Robo-dog Mission

   Striking cold wind playing with the General Mahamatra's hair as he patrols throu between the Land Of Lower Setekh and Aaru Village, one would think, the desert weather is non-stop hot and dry, but in truth, nights in the desert are really cold, and sometimes the white star sprinkled sky may gift the desert folk with some fresh, cold delightful rain. For those, who struggle in thier day-to-day life in this land, the occational rain is a real blessing. But it seems that this night won't be a rainy one. But it does'nt matter for the seasoned General. The only thing in his mind right now is to serve justice for his pray. 

It's around 1-2 months since the Reaper incident, and he's already back at another chase. This one in particular is a real headache. After the Reaper was killed, everyone, including Liyue's General, was -and still- working on undoing the damages. Tighnari, <Y/N> and Collei trying to nurse the forest life back, Detective Heizou and his elites looking for any more potential suspects, just in case. Cyno's job? Well, the usual, look for suspects in the land of Sumeru, lure them out of thier hideout, and bring justice. Nothing new. And he already cought eye on a suspect, but he can't blow his cover just yet. What if he wrongly accusing someone? No, that can't happen. He's curretly following the suspect's every single move for 3 days by now. They did'nt do anything suspitios yet, but he's just got a bad feeling. 

He's hiding behind sone remnants of the Scarlet King's civilization's building. But as he predicted, the minute he got closer to the place, where his suspect hiding, sudden sand storm forces him to retreat. That's one thing that bothers him. There's no way that a sandstorm, that by the way even he can't predict, just appears out of completly nowhere when he reaches a specific spot. And what's more alarming is that, it's too close to the village. Whatever this bastard plans are, it'll be put Aaru Village in great danger. 

This cat-mouse play kept going for another 4-5 days, when Cyno's got hit by the realisation: the suspect did'nt show any sign of life during this period. The place is completly open, if anyone were arrived, or left, he surely would saw it, but no. Not a single trace of life. His inner voice demands him to notify his friends, he can't put his finger on why, maybe it's just some 6th sence or something like that. He risks it and call Tighnari, his voice barely above a whisper.

Tighnari POV:

He's at the office, sorting out documents while waiting for <Y/N> and Collei to come back from thier patrol, when his phone rings. 

   <Tighnari> ,,What the-? That was fast, hope nothing bad..." He checks the phone, but shocked to see Cyno's name, and picks it up in an instant. ,,Cyno, what happened?" 

   <Cyno> ,,Hey buddy, first i had to ask what everyone's doing, urgent." He whispers it fast, while still looking out for any sign of the suspect. Tighnari picks up the gravity of the situation and lowers his voice as well.

   <Tighnari> ,,The girls are out on patrol, about to get back shortly-" 

   <Cyno> ,,Call 'em back!" He cuts him off with a sort of whisper-yell. ,,Look, i have a bad feeling about this, can't tell more yet. But call them back right here and now." And he quickly hang up, leaving Tighnari in a shock. 

He immidiatly calls them, knowing that Cyno's sences 99% were accurate in the past, and he also have been on the edge ever since the Reaper incident, he only let <Y/N> and Collei out on a patrol becouse he trusts in her abilities, and Collei wanted to help. 

<Y/N> and Collei POV:

You and Collei finished your patrol route, and now taking some time to just relax, open a drink and some snack before going back. The view is so pretty, looking down to the city from the hill, leaned on the railing. The city showered in bright colored lights from the night life of it's citizens. Tho you prefer the peace that the city's outskirt gives, moments like this is still close to that for you. And hey, you're still at the woods after all. After the Reaper incident, you just need some peace of mind. Just like when you where back at the Akademiya, when you feel yourself tired in spirit, you just go on a hike, or sit down in the park and just relax. Originaly you grew up on a small ranch, that gave home to 3-4 Stumpter Beast, and at some point to rescued dogs and foxes. You did'nt even wanted to get that deep into study, but you had to for an average pay, so you choose Amurta, becouse it was the closest to what you're already used to. But looking back at things, if you did'nt get in the Akademiya, you likely would still be alone, working your butt off in a work that your body most likely can't handle. No...you can't stuck in the past. Yes, you lost so much. But as that door closed, a new opened, and your life with Tighnari just started, for Archon's sake!  The day you confessed to him, you also swore to yourself, that you'll protect him, and your friends on your own way. As your thoughts running throu your mind, you subconciously squeez the drink in your hand, that couses it to spill out a little.
