Calm Before The Storm

The day has finaly arrived. The day the whole of Sumeru, from common folk to academic researchers, old and young, celebrates Lesser Lord Kussanali's birthsday. It has been so long since the theater group last done it, since Azar, the previous Grand Sage was against any kind of non-academic activities. It's such a shame, esspecialy becouse everyone loves to watch Nilou's dance. Even Sumeru's most grumpy General. Even the students at the Akademiya, who have devoted thier lives to seek knowledge. It's so beautiful every time. And what's making it even more meaningful? Each of the parties whole heartedly enjoyes it. Most of the time, dancers and actors mostly doing it just for the Mora. But Nilou and the Zubayr Theater as a whole, mostly doing it for the people. Nilou always loves to see the smiling faces of the people that steps thier foot into the theater's vast underground hall. It's a bit of a contrast from the overworld, with the theater's walls mostly covered with the roots of the gigantic tree the city has built around, but that's what beautiful in it. It's a little underground safe zone, where anyone can hide away from the stress of thier day-to-day lives. From the stress of the Akademiya. From the constant loud noise of the cars and motorcycles in the city. Here, they can relax and charge thier spirit up a bit in the warm yellow lights of the lamps hanging down from the ceiling, watching Nilou's mesmerizing dance. And this event will be even more awaited by everyone. The Sabzeruz Festival.

<Tighnari> ,,Everyone's ready?!" He asks, looking around you two's living room. 

Not too long ago, it was covered with the black liquid, that you had named ,,Marana". Tho it's originaly tied to the ,,Withering"...at least, Lumine told you that. But you don't know exactly what she ment by that. But the name is fiting, and Tighnari also agreed to it, so it's ,,Marana" from now on.

<Cyno> ,,Ready. Tho it's still...wierd to just go to a performance after all of...that." He says, still tensed up from the whole incident. Not the killing itself...but the fact that even tho he had eliminated that bunch of criminals, the Marana itself is still around. Altho it's not spreading as alarmingly as it was in the past, it's still present.

<Tighnari> ,,Relax." He tries to calm him down, smiling a bit. ,,It's good to break the work cycle once in a while. Besides, whenever we pass throu the theater, i always see you secretly looking Nilou's dance. Now is the best opportunity to properly watch her. Neither you, nor us are on duty."

Cyno don't answer it. He just stares at his friend for a while, debating on what is right. Is even right this sudden shift? Okay, you could say, that during his recovery (well, he's still recovering to be honest), he played TCG with them. But it was mostly for the purpose to get his mind working again after the long coma. And also to get his mind off of the fact that...maybe he had caused more trouble, than good. He was careless. Not planing out anything properly. He's the General Mahamatra...he needs to give a good example for the other Matras and yet...

<Tighnari> He puts his hand on the general's shoulder. ,,Look, if you don't want to do it for yourself, then for Collei. Trust me, even tho she don't laughs at your jokes, she doesn't want to see you torturing yourself with that behavior."

<Cyno> ,,That comment was...unnecerarily cold. Even from you, Tighnari." He finaly answers.

<Tighnari> ,,Hey, i'm just making sure that you're listening, that's all." He puts his hands in the air, defending himself playfully.

After a little bit more time, everyone's done. Nobody made too big of a fuss about it. You wear a pastel green pants with a pale green (almost white) shirt, and a pastel brown blazer. Tighnari a pale green suit, with his pants and shoe of the similar kind of greenish colours. Collei wears similar type of clothes as you, only difference that hers are more on the pale-yellowish side. Cyno wears a pale pink shirt, pastel purple pants, darker pastel purple shoes, and on his shouder is a deep purple suit in a way that coveres most of his cast on his left arm. Tho your healing is suprisingly good, even you can't heal broken bones. That's a whole another level. But that's okay, since you managed to...practicaly bring him back to life.
