On The Land of Knowledge and Conflict[ENG]

,,And once Cyno gets back to work, and you back to school, and you still don't change your mind, either he, or Tighnari can start the adoption process."

These words are still repeating themselves in the boy's mind, as he's trying really hard to fall asleep. But no matter how hard he tries every method in the book, nothing seems to work. But he has to fall asleep eventually, since tomorrow is his first day in school after all these months. Altho it is true that...this is the sole reason of his restlessness. Despite this being a good thing, as the fact that he'll be back at school, and Cyno back to work, will mean that he'll get a chance to get adopted for real this time, he's still anxious.

So much time had passed since that incident, so much had happened... And he's got a hunch that, even tho he tried his very best to change, the world won't accept him back. And he's not blaming anyone for it. After all, all those people had watched as he almost killed their General, and their best Forest Watcher. And even before that...he brought a Crystal Marrow shard to school, risking everyone's lives with it. Altho, he had no intention in leaving the shards there, he just forgot them in his desk, and was unable to reclaim them, as he's got locked into that hell-hole that time too. But regardless of that...he had done so much irreversible damage that...he would be surprised, if the outside world will grant him another chance to redeem himself. But he needs to try. He wants to live a normal life. He wants to experience what it's like to go out and play with friends, then come back to a home, where he knows, that he's safe. Where there's no drunk yelling and crashing furniture. Where there's no need to fear if he'll even live to see the light of the next day.

And here, with them, all of this is true. Even tho he doesn't have a room yet, he still feels safe. There's no drunk yelling or anything like that, outside of Tighnari's and Cyno's occasional bickerings, which he knows, is mostly from their stubborn nature. And once two equally as stubborn individual starts to argue, there's hardly an end to it. Altho he has to agree with Tighnari on that, he finds their bickerings and arguments more funny, than Cyno's horrible trying of jokes. And as he tosses-and turns on the sofa, he can't help the small giggle that escapes him at the memory of them, as Cyno told once again a terrible joke and Tighnari's unintentionally funny comebacks.

Finally...some better thoughts to dwell on... And thanks to them, he's now slowly, but surely, able to fall asleep. And as his mind starts to paint a dream with it's blurry shapes, from the shapes, he can make out a familiar figure... With a sun hat, that covers his mid-length, brown hair, and a pair of big, deep green rain boots. Altho the figure's face can't be seen, as it's too blurry, and as he looks more closely, the image of the figure's got a strange...Dendro-greenish outline to it, he's still easily recognizing him.

<Rashmu> ,,Dad!" He almost cries out and runs into his arms. ,,Can't believe it's really you..." He sobs, as he snuggles onto him, and the strange image of his father hugs him close.

<figure> ,,I'm so glad to see you..." He strokes the boy's head, as he just shakes from the sobbing.

He continues to gently stroke the boy's head, as they both slowly get on the soft grass, that had been warmed up from the gentle Sun. Then Rashmu now hears a familiar squeaking sound. He opens his eyes and...baby Spinocrocodiles! He also recognizes them, as they were the ones he helped his dad to raise. They start to wobble closer to him, one of them even gets close to his face, poking the boy's tear stained cheek, as if trying to get rid of the tears. The boy can't even utter a word, his face stretches into a bittersweet smile, as he starts to play with the cute animal with his finger, as he always used to do. And the image of his dad could only watch it with a sorrowful smile. Still watching over the boy, even once he falls asleep slowly on his leg, cuddling with the three baby Spinos.
