Koda was genuinely surprised that he was enjoying spending time with Jasper. They had spent every day for almost two weeks together working on the spell. It was finally completed. With a strand of Jasper's hair as the last ingredient. The two were now waiting patiently for the results. Jasper was on the phone explaining to Willow that tonight would be a joint date night since it had been a while for all three of them.

Koda admired him as he did. He never really noticed how handsome Jasper was with his golden eyes and blonde hair. He wore his leather jacket and scuffed up jeans with riding boots.  He was rugged and beautiful and Koda had never noticed before.

"Pretty boy? Did you hear me?" Jasper's voice snapped Koda out of the daze that he had been in. Jasper was staring at him with a brow raised and waiting for a response.

"What did you say?" Koda cleared his throat before he spoke and averted his eyes to the map and the tracking spell.

"Willow wants to have dinner at her place tonight. Is that okay with you?" Jasper was still on the phone as he waited for an answer. Before Koda could answer Jasper held up a finger and maneuvered the phone to place it on speaker mode.

"Charlie is grilling tonight." Willow's cheerful voice rang out through the room and Koda smiled at the sound of it.

"Sounds fantastic. I can't wait, little tree." Koda responded and stepped closer to Jasper and the phone.

"What movie? I'm thinking maybe something classic like Clue but it's Kodas turn to pick the movie." He could just imagine Willow with the movie already pulled up on the screen.

"I've never seen Clue." Jasper interjected and Willow gasped on the other end of the line.

"That's just criminal." Willow sounded personally offended. "Koda?" There was a sweet plea to her voice, one that she knew would break him even if he couldn't see her face he knew she was pouting. He could never say no to that pout.

"Clue it is."

"Yay! Jasper, you're going to love it."  Willow half screamed in the phone and he could her hands clapping. "I'll get you back to work. Please don't be late."

"We'll be there at six sharp." Jasper reassured with a small smile on his face. Koda was completely mesmerized by it.

"Koda, I love you." Willow's happy voice broke his attention away from Jasper.

"I love you too, little tree." Koda responded.

"I love you Jazz."

"I love you too darlin'." Jasper smiled again and Koda felt like his nose was going to bleed at the sight.

The line went dead a few moments later and Jasper slipped his phone back into his pocket. Koda went back to watching the spell as the smoke spread across the map. When it reached Olives location the spot would burn blue. There was an awkward silence that fell across the room and Koda didn't know what to do about it.
