After almost two years in prison Noah found the night sky quite a marvel. The wind blew through his now long and oily hair. He enjoyed the feeling of freedom, he believed he deserved freedom. He wasn't sure where he was, maybe in Oregon, far away from Forks and the girl who had broken his heart.

"Are you ready to talk now?" A thick European accent sounded behind Noah, breaking the male from his focus on the night sky.

"Where's Caius? I was told that I would be having this conversation with him." Noah used his charming voice to state his point. His brow was raised as he turned his head to look at the male.

He stood with hands in front of him with his face hard of stone. His brown hair was styled in a slight spike and his eyes were the color of blood. His clothes were laughable in Noah's opinion, like something out of an ancient history textbook.

"I know what you were told, but things change. You are going to have this conversation with me." The man made his statement with aggravation in his voice.

"Alright. What was your name again?" Noah questioned as he turned to face his new friend fully.

"Demetri." Old name that explains the old clothes Noah thought.

"Tell me again why I was chosen for this?" Noah crossed his arms over his orange jumpsuit.

"You know the girl on a personal level. You also have a gift of manipulation. You make people believe what you want them to, in more ways than just words." Demetri spoke with a bored tone but his eyes never left Noah's face.

"Why does Caius want her dead?" Noah questioned again with a hard expression.

"Did you not read the letters that were sent to you? I was made to believe that you were literate." Demetri grumbled and earned an eye roll from the escaped prisoner.

"I know all the details of his obsession with her." Noah muttered as he used his hand to brush his hair back from his face.

"An obsession that you would truly understand." The vampire smirked as a look of annoyance flashed across Noah's face.

"My obsession is justified." The words sounded more like an angry growl, but Demetri laughed and took a few steps towards the long haired male.

"I'm sure it is. Will you be able to kill her when the time comes?" Demetri moved until he was staring in the eyes of Noah.

Hardly any space between the two and the tension was rising between them. After a heartbeat of silence a sinister smirk spread across Noah's face.

"Of course." He nodded and his face twisting into a smile that many people had once been charmed by. "After all. If I can't have her, then no one can."

Demetri's lips twitched into a small smile of amusement. Hearing once again the words that Caius had spike when he decided to execute this mission.

"Excellent." Demetri as he turned on his heel to walk away. "Remember your reward is the life of an immortal."

"Does it matter how I do it?" Noah's voice was now filled with excitement, he was determined to pull this task off.

"Just make sure she's dead. The details are up to you." Demetri called over his shoulder, his desire to leave was really the only thing on his mind. "Do with her as you please."

Noah turned his eyes back to the sky with a smile of pure enjoyment on his face. When he turned back to ask another question Demetri was gone and in his place was a large bag. The shaggy haired male made his way to the bag and pulled it open to find a ridiculous amount of money.

He laughed as his fingers skimmed over with crisp bundles over the piles of one hundred dollar bills. He laughed with pure enjoyment as he fell back into the grass. He laughed for the first time in three years.

He laughed as he planned the perfect way to kill Willow Grace Davis.
