January 5, 2019:

A sudden shiver ran down his spine, serving as a reminder of how nervous Sangwoo was.

Heejung had told him that she'd been subbing in for a representative who'd been on leave for the past few months due to BTS's activities in the US, and that they would be handling everything from today onwards in an email last night.

"Here we go," he muttered as he walked into the building before him. She'd also said that they'd most likely be waiting for him in the lobby. Just where was this person?

"Choi Sangwoo?"

He looked in the direction the voice had come from. A tall male standing next to the receptionist desk gave the younger man a nod.

"Are you-"

"Yes, I'm the man mentioned in the email you must've received one or two days ago. I'll be in charge of you and five others."

Sangwoo stood in front of him and bowed.

"My name is Jaebum. Nice to meet you." He motioned towards the left. "Shall we?"

Sangwoo nodded. "Alright, sir."

As they walked toward the room at the end of the hallway, Jaebum listed down what Sangwoo's day would look like now that he was a trainee. Most of his time was to be spent in the practice room, as he'd expected. Because he was a university student in his last year, he would continue attending the same institution. He would, however, need to move to a company-owned apartment that was much closer to the building.

"You'll be rooming with the five boys I mentioned before. They will most likely debut before you, and when they do, you'll be shifted to another dorm." Jaebum went inside first, holding the door open for Sangwoo. "I'm sure you've heard about monthly evaluations. As with our other trainees, you'll be taking language lessons, etiquette lessons, music lessons-you understand where I'm going with this, right?"

"Yes, sir." Sangwoo looked at the room before him. A wooden floor welcomed him, with mirrors in the front. Spotlights lined the ceiling. The whole room was painted a rich cream color.

"This is where you'll be spending most of your time," Jaebum gestured toward the room. "And be advised that your sleep schedule is going to be pretty much nonexistent from tomorrow onwards. Once you return from university, practice will begin, around 6 pm or so." He then led Sangwoo out. "Any form of social media you have will be deleted--Twitter, Instagram, anything--you can't date anyone either." After taking a moment to laugh, he added, "It's not like you can, anyway. Male and female trainees are kept separately."

I doubt any girl would interest me, Sangwoo thought. "Is there anything else, sir?"

His manager hummed. "Is there?" He raised an eyebrow and frowned, before his expression settled once again. "Ah, yes. We have a canteen for trainees located within the building, and you'll use this for all your meals, so you won't be able to eat anything from the outside."
