It was a bright and sunny day at the Burrow. Nine people sat around the dining table as a short and rather plump redheaded woman scurried across the room cooking food. They were talking and laughing, chattering gaily when four owls flew into the house, each carrying an envelope bearing the seal of Hogwarts.

"Wait, why are there four letters? We were only expecting Hermione's and Ginny's weren't we?" Arthur Weasely asked, frowning.

"Well, just open it up and see."

Harry went over to the owls, unhooking the parchment from their feet, and saw that the letters were addressed to Hermione, Ginny, Ron and himself.

"Huh. There are letters for the four of us, Gin," he said and handed out the letters before opening his own.

Over the course of the next few months, the seven and their friends practiced with their wands and spent their spare time poring over all the books Hecate had given them to prepare for their journey to Hogwarts. The spells were rather easy to cast as their incantations were in Latin and because their blood was infused with magic. The books, however, were very hard to finish due to their ADHD but their dyslexia didn't bother them as the books had been translated into complete Latin and thus, very soon, the entire group was very proficient at performing magic.

Surprisingly enough as he was not a frontline fighter, Will was the first one to successfully integrate magic into combat. They soon discovered that hybridizing wizarding spells with person-to-person combat had its limit. You could not combine the two in a battle against multiple foes as Percy found out when sparring against Frank and Hazel.

Percy thought that because Hecate blessed them with magic, they should be able to do Egyptian magic as well, and to prove his point, he 'accidentally' brought down the Big House by using "Ha-Di", something which would've made Sadie proud.

However, they were quickly banned from Capture the Flag when they discovered the summoning spell, 'Accio', because, in a game, Nico whipped out his wand and simply summoned the flag to his side, causing the campers on the other side to uproar in protest.

The time finally came when they had to go to Hogwarts and a change of plans had been made. You see, one day Annabeth proposed the idea that if children of the Underworld could use shadows to travel, why couldn't those of Poseidon travel through the water present in the air and the children of Zeus travel through the air? So they got to experimenting and found out that they actually could, and Percy, Jason, and Thalia all ended up in Africa.
