Chapter 8

(Nico P.O.V)

Nico was shaken awake early in the morning. He opened his bleary eyes to see Thalia waving her hand enthusiastically in front of his face.

"Can you stop it?" he asked grumpily.

"Good to see you're awake, cuz. Now get off your lazy butt and take your bath. We need to go get some training in before breakfast." she replied.

Nico got up to see that everyone was awake and talking animatedly while playing UNO.

"Morning guys." he greeted.

Their replies ranged from "Good morning sunshine" to "Good morning Death Breath" to "Brush your teeth."

As they were making their way down to the Great Hall, they bumped into a trio of people. The first one looked somewhat like Percy, only skinnier, with emerald eyes instead of sea green and a lightning bolt-shaped scar on his forehead. The second person was a redhead with blue eyes, and shared the first's lankiness, though he was slightly taller. The third was a girl with brown eyes and hair, and her eyes carried the same look as Annabeth's. From that, Nico derived that she was rather intelligent.

"You must be Harry Potter. Well done on your fight against Voldemort." Percy greeted, extending his hand to the first teen, which he shook.

"Thank you. But it wasn't just me. Everyone in the castle helped. These are my friends, Ron and Hermione. They deserve as much credit as I do. Ron is one of the most loyal people you'll ever meet and Hermione is the smartest of our age. Anyways, you guys must be the exchange students, I assume? You guys put on quite a show last night."

Nico was happy with the raven-haired boy's response. It showed that he hadn't let fame and power get to his head and that he was still humble.

Reyna chuckled and replied "That we are. The entrance was the way it was because this one-" she jerked her thumb towards Thalia "has seemed to inherit her father's dramatic tendencies. I am Reyna. I don't give my surname so I don't give it out. These are my friends Percy, and his fiancee Annabeth, Piper and her fiance Jason, Nico and his fiance Will, Thalia, Leo and his fiancee Calypso, Thalia, and Frank and Hazel, who are basically married.

"We're just your friends?" Nico gasped, clutching his chest in mock hurt "I really thought we were more than that." he said, rubbing away fake tears.

Reyna put on a small smile at his antics "Fine, mi hermano. Harry, Hermione, and Ron, meet my overly dramatic and crazy family."

The trio chuckled "It was nice meeting you guys. But we all should be going to the Hall, lest we miss breakfast." Hermione said.

So they tagged along with the trio to the great hall so as to not get lost.

When they entered the hall, the demigods made their way over to the small table set aside for them, so they could have their meals together.

At the table, they had regular Camp set out for them, courtesy of the house elves. There were jugs of both black and milk coffee, lean-cut bacon, low-fat cheese, some bread and eggs of all styles- scrambled, omelets, fried, poached, boiled, and so on.

They sat down for their meal, and Frank asked a question on all of their minds

"What subjects are we taking?"

"Well, before we left, Chiron told Annabeth and me that we were going to attend classes for the more important subjects, along with the compulsory Healing and Trauma classes. So, that will be DADA, Potions, Charms, Transfiguration, and Magical Creatures." replied Reyna.
