The rest of the week went by fast and it's now Friday, the day for Nate's game and I'm really excited but first I need to get through the rest of the school day since it's only lunch, but I think it'll go by pretty fast. The game's at six and it's the only thing people talk about today, try to talk about something else and no one will listen.
- So, we're going to the game and we got our ticket's awhile ago, but are you going, Cara? Because I don't think there's any tickets left since it's an important game, with it being the Cowboys' first game of the season this year..., Sasha, one girl of the group, which consists of Elize, Sasha, Zoey, Alex, Chase and Will, ask me.
- Well, I actually have a ticket and I think I'll have to the rest of their games too, I answer her.
- What? What do you mean? How can you have that? They're like really expensive. Wait, you're not a secret daughter of a billionaire or mafia boss or something, right? Will ask.
- Oh my God, no. Definitely no or well, maybe you could say that, not that my parents are extremely rich, okay they are, but that's not the point. The point is that, they don't like me, to be honest, I think they hate me. And about why I think I have tickets to every game, well, you'll find out tonight along with everyone else looking for me or a special person under and after the game, I explain and then they make me promise to tell if they can't figure it out. I smile at them and that's how the rest of the lunch and day went too, with us talking about the game later. It wasn't until I was walking to my car after my last lesson that the guy from the first day approached me again.
- So, new girl, are you going to the game tonight? I mean, the tickets are sold out and you'll be pretty lonely and bullied if people from school don't see you there since it's a big game..., he finally trail off.
- Will you let me talk now? Good. For your information, I'm going to the game tonight and probably every game for the season but thanks for worrying about me being bullied, it's really cute of you, I smirk at him and he gape at me.
- What? How can you have a ticket to the game? You only got here this week! He exclaim.
- Yeah, well, but I have my ways, now, will you please move? I don't want to be here anymore, plus I need to go home and do some things before the game..., I trail off and he move out of my way but he doesn't walk away.
- Well, if you tell the truth, I guess I'll see you later, he walk away. I sigh and get into my car, he'll see, he'll see. When I get home Nate's there but he's not alone, there's another guy with him, a guy I don't know.
- Hi, Nate, and hi you other guy that I don't know, I greet them when I walk into the kitchen to get some water and something to eat.
- Hi, Cara. This is Cameron, my best bud and Cam, this is my little sister, Caroline, Nate introduce us.
- Oh, hi then Cameron, guess I'll see you around pretty much then and Nate I'm not little..., I converse as I take out a glass and pour some water in it.
- Hi, Caroline, but please call me Cam, not Cameron, and I guess I can say the same to you, he reply.
- Okay, I'll call you Cam, but only if you call me Cara..., I say as I look through the fridge to see if there's something to eat.
- Nate is there anything to eat? I ask him.
- Sure, Cara it is, Cam smile at me and I smile back at him.
- Nate? I ask once more.
- Oh, yeah I think it should be some leftover pizza from yesterday in the fridge, he answer butI can't see any so I tell him that.
- Well, take some yoghurt or a fruit or something, he shrug and I pour some yoghurt in a bowl and top with some cinnamon.
- Yeah, okay, but you need to go grocery shopping soon or we won't have any food, I say to him. - Well, there's always takeout, he shrug.
- Yeah, but you can't live on that, I explain like he's a three year old or something.
- I did before you moved here, he shrug once again.
- Actually, you didn't, I cooked for you, Cam pipe in.
- You did? Well, I'm really grateful then, because if you hadn't I'm pretty sure Nate here, would be six feet under right now, I joke and he laugh.
- Not funny, Nate pout.
- Oh, but it is Natie, it is, I smile and poke his cheeks which only cause him to pout even more, and it look adorable. I smile once more and turn to the stove and heat my food. Once I'm finish I put it on a plate and sit down at the table.
- So, do you play football too, Cam? I ask him.
- Yeah, I actually do and I've got number 16, so look out for me on the pitch later, number 16 with Hernandez written on it, he explain and I nod and smile back. We got to know each other a little more until they had to go.
- Well, I'm sorry sis, but we need to go now, or we'll be late for the game and then we won't get to play tonight, Nate explain.
- Okay, I'll see you later then. But wait, how do I do later? I ask him.
- Well, just walk up to the ticket window and tell the person there that you're on the list and then you'll just do as the person tell you, okay? He explain.
- Okay, see you later then. Oh and good luck, both of you, I smile at them before they head out and I walk upstairs to my room to get changed.
