"Care to explain what is going on between you two?"

I freeze and share a bewildered look with Zach, who, may I say, doesn't look affected at all. He probably enjoys this, if I know him right. I try to speak but I can't get any sound out, which Nate apparently sees because he laughs.

"I mean, I've sensed it being something this whole time but I haven't really understood what because one second you act like you're gonna kill each other, but the next I could swear that you have been married for some years. You have to tell me what I should believe, or I will make up my own story about you two and what you have or not."

"Nate, I swear I am not going to marry this je-," Zach puts his hand over my mouth.

"What she's trying to say is that she's madly in love with me and just tries to act like she hates me, but we all know she doesn't, right honey?" I shake my head and glare at him, trying to speak but his hand causes it to sound like gibberish.

"See? She has nothing to put her veto to, she agrees one hundred percent with what I said," he smirks when he sees my glare, but I'll show him.

"Ewwwwww," he shakes his hand, trying to wipe it on me but I hold my body out of reach and tell him that he deserved it. This of course, Nate is finding really funny and points out that this is just another argument for his theory about us acting like we've been married for years. I push him playfully, or maybe a little rough, but let's be honest, he can take it.

"Okay, listen up, I am not 'madly in love' with him," I make quotation marks when I say madly in love, and poke Zach. "And, neither am I trying to act like I hate him, because I don't, there I said it, happy? However, I do get annoyed as hell at him sometimes, but at other times he's decent and I kinda like him then, okay?" I explain to both of them, which might have been a stupid idea because Zach looks at me weirdly, but I wave it off.

"Wow, I was just making fun of you but thanks for letting me in, and Zach too, if his face is showing the truth," he laughs, making Zach come out of his not-really-here state of mind.

"Yeah, thank you for telling me princess, it's great to know this," he laughs and I groan.

"Kill me now, please, I beg you," none of them seems to care that I am literally dying in misery here. "Wow, thanks guys," I huff, my voice is dripping with sarcasm, which I am one hundred and ten percent sure that they notice but apparently, they don't care, cause Nate just ruffle my hair and Zach tells me how cute I am. Ignoring them I sit back down in the armchair so I won't be annoyed by any of them and press play again.

I must have fallen asleep because next thing I feel is someone carrying me up the stairs. Normally, I would have told them to put me down but I really don't have the energy to wake up enough to walk the rest of the way on my own. Therefore, in fear of them putting me down if they catch me with my eyes open, I keep them shut, not knowing if it's Nate or Zach. They put me down and I feel a tiny pressure on my forehead.

"Sweet dreams, princess," I tell him to stay and to my surprise he actually does just that.

I blink, shifting but I don't move so I look around, as good as I can in the position I am in, searching for the reason for me not being able to move. My eyes rest on the arm around my waist and the hand holding mine, preventing me from moving. I sniff, because let's be honest who wouldn't? trying to figure out who it is, before it clicks in my mind. Zach! He carried me to bed and I told him to stay.

I try to turn around so I can see his face but to no avail because he doesn't budge even the tiniest, giving me a good reason to think that he's actually awake. To test my theory, I move my fingers lightly back and forth on his arm, and then I feel a slight rumble from his chest and hear the faintest laugh, proving that I'm right.

"Let me move," I beg him.

"Nah, I like this position."

"Ugh," I give up for some time, trying to come up with a plan.

"I'll give you a kiss if you let me move around," I smirk, knowing that he won't reject this offer.

"Fine," he huffs, loosening his grip which allows me to turn around. He looks at me expectantly but I decide to play him by pretending that I have no idea what he's waiting for.

"What?" I ask, making him raise his eyebrows and tell me I know what, but I explain that I really don't, to which he just shakes his head.

"Are you seriously doing this? Come on! I'm not letting you get up from this bed until you do it," he threatens.

"Do what? I honestly don't know what you're talking about," I continue to play dumb.

"Well, sucks for you then, good luck getting out of here," he smirks and I sigh, why does he has to be so persistent? I roll my eyes and lean forward. He takes a deep breath, he's surprised. My lips are almost touching his when I turn my head rapidly and kiss his cheek instead, making him groan. However, to my surprise he grabs my head, not allowing me to move my head, and steer it so my lips are a touching his. He moves slowly, like I'm the most delicate thing he's ever touched. It is so much different than the last time we kissed, so much more sensual and passionate. After what feels way too short he pulls away, catching his breath, making me realize that I should probably inhale too.

"Wow," he looks almost amazed.

"Wow indeed," I agree. We look at each other and seem to think the same thing because we both lean in again. He rolls me over so that I'm on top of him and I put my hands at the nape of his neck and in his hair, holding his head. I feel one of his hands in my hair and the other on my lower back, slowly moving lower, until he squeezes my butt. I moan and press my body closer to his, making him moan and shift a bit under me. I reluctantly pull away when I feel the urge to breath.

"That was amazing, remind me to never argue against you when you tell me that I want to kiss you," I breath.

"I promise," he grins, making me melt. I lean in to kiss him again but he stops me after only a few seconds.

"We should go down before Nate comes barging in, not that he has anything against us doing this, but I think he would be happy if we'd spare him from this sight," I sigh, admitting that he's right. I can't help myself but give him one quick kiss before I sit up and make my way to the bathroom to get ready for the day.
