"Good evening, we've received some roses and gifts for you do you want them now or later?" The security guard who was stationed at the club's front desk questioned, as he clutched the gifts in his hands.
"I'll take them." I grinned as he handed me a tiny gift bag, a birkin bag with a stack of cash inside of it, and a dozen roses with a message attached to it.
Curious about my sudden admirer, I took the note from the roses and read it.
i miss you in ways that not even words can describe, please come over today. i hope you loved your gifts and the roses!
-bil ♡My heart skipped a beat I didn't anticipate her to send me such wonderful gifts. I'll definitely head over to her house to give her a thank you in person once I've collected all of my money that I have earned tonight.
I couldn't even deny the butterflies that filled my stomach. I hated how nervous she made me. Nobody had ever gotten this version of me, and I could admit to being scared that this might be too good to be true.
Over the last two weeks, Billie had turned my whole life around. Her presence and existence in general made everything better, as if the air just got crisper whenever she came around. I didn't know how she did it, especially since I was a hard one to tame.
After the incident at the club, we were finally on speaking terms. I may argue that I was wrong for not answering her question, but I didn't feel compelled to do so because it wasn't any of her business.
We've spent most days together, even if it was for just an hour or two since both of us had busy schedules. She have taken me on a few dates, took me shopping, and even paid for my most recent hairstyle. Those were things that I expected from her, but the things that didn't cost money meant the most to me.
The way she held me at night and asked how my day went, genuinely interested in what I'd done and if there was anything she could do to fix anything that had went wrong; how she helped flat iron the back pieces of my hair that I couldn't reach, the way she kissed my face while she did her morning routine. All of it had me in the clouds.
She was just so refreshing. I couldn't wait to see her today.
As soon as I parted ways with the security guard, Billie called me on FaceTime at the same time that I got into my Jeep wrangler to make the drive to Billies home.
"Wassup baby. You on your way?"
"Yes. Thank you for my flowers by the way. I loved them." I backed out of my parking spot while a smile grew on Billie's face.
