"Be careful," Mingi whispered, "Quickly come on."

You finally got down to the ground carefully and Mingi hugged you, "Are you sure about this?" you whispered.

"Don't worry about it. I'll get you home before 6 AM." He smiled.

Now, one may wonder, 'How'd they get in this situation in the first place?' It's a complicated story. Song Mingi and Kim Y/N's parents were rivals, in terms or business as well as relationships. No one really know why their rivals but everyone knos their families despise each other. When Kim Y/N found out Song Mingi goes to the same exact college as her, she thought he'd be rude and cruel, just like her parents told her. But in reality, Mingi was a sweetheart and cared about everyone around him.

On the first day when Y/N tripped and fell, while everyone as laughing at her, Mingi stepped in, helping her. Y/N thought it was 'love at first sight'. Mingi was handsome, tall, funny and not to mention, charming. No wonder why every girl fell for him.

When Y/N decided to confess, she realized Mingi liked her back but there was no absolute way your parents would agree.

"I feel so bad we can't tell this to anyone," Mingi sighed, "I want everyone to know you're mine," he said, speeding up his motorbike. 

"Me too." She mumbled, "I hate it when Chaeri gets all over you and I can't even do anything."

"But you know, you're the one I love, right?" he chuckled. You nodded, holding his waist tighter.

You got off the bike as Mingi stopped the bike in front of a pet cafe. "This one's open 24/7," he smiled. You chuckled, walking in with Mingi's fingers interwined with yours.

You both chuckled, driving back home on his bike. You got off as you reached your home and saw your parents. And they weren't exactly... happy about what they were seeing.

"Mom..." you mumbled. 

"Is this what you've been doing? I'm so thankful you have a cousin like Yoonji," your mom took you hand, leading you inside. And all you could think of was Mingi and what to do with Yoonji.

Your dad glared at you, "Is this what we taught you? I've told you one too many times about the Song family. Are you even willing to listen to what your parents say?!" Your dad starts shouting at you. 

"I listen to whatever you say. But the question is, are you willing to listen to your daughter?" you mumble. But your dad hears it.

"Are you talking back to me?" your dad sighs. "You're not going anywhere tomorrow. You're grounded until you realize Song Mingi is not the one you love. Yoonji will be keeping an eye on you," he looks like he's suppressing his anger. 

You run to your room, taking out your phone, seeing five new messages from Mingi.

Everything okay?

I'm so sorry I couldn't get you home on time.
It's my fault, please forgive me.
I knew I shouldn't have went to the further cafe.

Mingi, I'm fine.
A scolding from my dad won't make me not forgive you or hate you.

But minus point, dad told me Yoonji would be keeping an eye on us.

I'm glad you're okay.

Don't worry about Yoonji. I've got that part covered.

You wondered what he meant by 'got Yoonji's part covered' because he didn't even know Yoonji properly. 

You yawned, walking into the hall. You saw Mingi and smiled at him when Yoonji stood next to you. "Hey Y/N." She smiled.

San walked up to her, wput an arm around her shoulder. "Hey pretty girl," he winked at her. You walked up to Mingi while Yoonji was distracted and hit Mingi on his shoulder. 

"Was that your plan? San playing with Yoonji's heart so she'd leave both of us alone?" you whispered.

"Who said he's playing with her? San has liked her ever since she joined," Mingi rubbed his shoulder, wincing. 

"Oh. Sorry about that though. I didn't think I would hit that hard." You chuckled.
"You'll have to make up to me. With a kiss and then a little date," he winked, hand still on his shoulder.

You smiled and gave him a quick kiss, making sure Yoonji wasn't looking. 

"A date?" Yoonji asked, making sure she heard it right.

"Yeah! A date. You and me, okay? I'll pick you up at 6 PM sharp," San smiled and left. Yoonji was left in a blushing mess.

You walked over to her, "Why are you blushing?" You smiled.

"...San asked me out... San asked me out!" she squealed.

You chuckled and took out your phone, The mission was a success, Mingi<3

You ran to Mingi and kissed him, "We'll be together after all."

A few days later, your mother walked into your room, sitting down with you on your bed. "Do you really love Mingi that much? Darling, please be honest with me. I won't scold you."

You found it weird but you slowly nodded, "Mom, I love him more than anything. The things you taught me about him and his family were all wrong. Mingi's the most sweetest person I have met and he's the only person I love." 

Your mother smiled, "Come in."

You were confused to why she said that but you saw Mingi entering your room. "Y/N, I know he truly loves you. Or he wouldn't have come here to talk to me and your dad. We both have agreed to stop with this rivalry, okay?"

A smile erupted on your face as you hugged Mingi. "I love you so much, Mingi."

"I love you too."
