Your POV

Valentine's Day wasn't exactly the thing for you. You spent your Valentine's Day sitting at home, watching romance movies or dramas. Especially after moving to Korea for a job, you've been having a lot of time only working. There hasn't been time for dating.

Your colleague, who was also a really good friend recommended you to go on a blind date with someone she knew. "Chaewon, that's a horrible idea, I'll embarrass myself again." You say on the phone.

"No, you won't. Plus, he's a nice guy, he won't judge you."

"Yeah right." You say, remembering the last time you went on a blind date recommended by her. Everything was a huge mess.

"You can't chicken out now, Y/N, I've already told him where to come. 7:00 pm at the new cafe that opened up this week. Be ready, it's this Sunday," she sing-songs, and you knew she had that smirk on her face.

"I hate you, Chaewon," you say and she kicks in the typical 'I love you too!' and you roll your eyes. Should you listen to her after what happened last time? No, but she's your friend so you decided to listen to her this once.

As for the date, what exactly would you be wearing? You opened your phone to ask Chaewon what you should wear. Anything comfortable ;)

Kim Chaewon, what the hell do you mean by that? you turn off your phone. That was completely useless. It's up to you now. You started procrastinating and thinking you have 3 whole days for that.

5 hours until the date and you're rushing here and there for a dress. Why the hell am I excited about this? Oh my God, Chaewon's cupid arrow things are getting to me.

You pick out a simple yet eye-catching dress and a pair of matching shoes. You let your hair down and put on some light make-up before calling an Uber.

As soon as your ride arrived, you immediately got out of the house and got into the car, telling the driver where you wanted to go.

"Thank you," you said as you got out of the car. You took out your phone and called Chaewon, "Hey, Chaewon. Do you know which table he's going to be at? The place is a bit crowded so I can't exactly find him."

"He told me he hadn't arrived yet. Sit at the table which is the closest to the door," Chaewon replies. Late on the first date? "His name is Wooyoung, by the way."

"Alright, then," and with that, you hung up. Just then, a man rushes past you and then slowly moves backward towards you.

"Are you... um... L/N Y/N?" The man says. You look confused but then you slowly nod, "Well, hi. I'm Wooyoung. Jung Wooyoung, I assume Chaewon set you up on the blind date as well?" Wooyoung says as he seats himself in front of you.

"I had to come here against my will. Uhm...It's not that I didn't want to meet you or anything, but the last time she set me up with someone, it was a huge mess," you say, chuckling and Wooyoung smiles.

"Chaewon is pretty weird but she's a really good friend," he says, exhaling a chuckle. You nod and the waitress comes to ask what you both want. "I'll have a  caramel macchiato, please," Wooyoung says.

"Um," you pause, wondering what to order. "I'll have the (your favorite beverage), please."

"So, you work with Chaewon?"

"Yes, she's my colleague."

You both have a conversation until you both finish your drinks, "Don't worry, Y/N. I'll pay for it."

Such a gentleman! you think to yourself and smile. "Thanks for today, it was fun!"

"No problem. I had fun too," he paused as he was leaving. "Would you mind if we exchanged numbers? I'd like to know you better," he said, smiling. You were late to notice, but he had a mole under his eye. It made him look even more cute. "Y/N?"

You snapped out of your thoughts. Were you staring? Uh-oh. "Um, yes, I don't mind exchanging numbers," you smiled back.

"Hey, um, I'm too quick to ask but would you like to hang out tomorrow too?" Wooyoung asks.

"Yeah, I'll check my schedule," you smile as you both exit the cafe.

"You look pretty, by the way!" He shouts while running in the opposite direction. Your cheeks show a shade of red and scarlet, you smile at his comment. You looked handsome, yourself.

"No, Chaewon, I will not tell you how the date went."

"Yes you will, or I'll ask Wooyoung myself," Chaewon said, showing you her devilish smile. "Are you sure you don't want to tell me?"

"He's a nice guy. Well, we also exchanged numbers," before you could say anything further, Chaewon squealed with excitement.

"You're already in love!"

"Yeah right." You rolled your eyes. "Anyway,  he's handsome, I'll have to say that."

As soon as your two-hour-long conversation ended, you saw an unread message.

Hey Y/N! It's me Wooyoung. Tomorrow's Valentine's Day, I know we don't know each other well, but I'd appreciate it if you'd be my Valentine.

Alright, I know. It's March and I'm posting a Valentine's theme. I didn't get time to finish it. AND I KNOW IT'S TOO QUICK FOR THEM AND WHATEVER BUT WHO CARES?
