Kendric didn't stop annoying me, he keeps on blabbering regarding the advantages i could get once that i come home.
"Stop that, my decision is final-" my attempt but then it was futile, i forgot how persistent he is.
Bakit ba gustong gusto niyang umuwi kung may iniiwasan siya? I don't get it.

I almost smirked, good thing i stopped myself by asking him question. All to smoothly shift the topic.
"What are you doing here anyway? I thought you'll go to Thailand?"
"Well, i don't want you alone at Valentines" he teased me.

I look around and saw couples, that answers why. I almost make a face but then it'll made me appear bitter or something so no. Lumayo ako nang kaunti kay Kendric, realizing something.

"I don't drink" i uttered.
Umirap siya. "Hindi lang naman para sa nag-iinom ang bar-"

"You could chill in there and loosen up. God! Letizia, it doesn't revolve around alcoholic beverages. Can't you see that i built it for you?"
Namilog ang mata ko at natawa tawa siyang tinignan, halos hindi na maipinta ang reaksyon ko. Mababaliw ata ako sa taong ito.
"Still a no" i said snobbishly, not wanting to prolong the argument but then this person wouldn't let it pass. Kaya naman nagtalo pa kami ng nagtalo bago napagod.
"I wanna go home"
Nagliwanag ang mata niya. "Tara!" anyaya niya na parang tuwang tuwa.
Kumunot ang noo ko at napansin na mali ang pagkakaunawa niya.
