The next day, Zephon hadn't even bothered getting out of bed until one of the maids, Kathy, came in and said. "Boy? What are you waiting for? Get up!"

That got him thinking about Onika. He had to fix this. He had to tell Adell. It was pretty late already. He had slept in, purposely and now, it was noon. He thought for a while and finally got a thought. He washed himself, ate, and walked until it was dinner time. He talked to his father about his talk with Dina. He felt like he needed a break from the world, so he went into his room and woke up, early, Saturday morning.

When he noticed it was Saturday, his eyes went wide and he heard soldiers fixing up the ball room down stairs. He was so annoyed about the ball because it made him nervous. He decided to pretend that he was asleep but soon became bored and decided to get up.

He was drawn to go outside but waited until the queen was out of sight. He grabbed the book that his father had been reading ran outside. He ran to Onika's house. He knocked on her door, impatiently. Stephen answered and the second that he saw him, he grit his teeth and crossed his arms over his chest, "You."

"Zephon is the name." He pointed out.

"I'm not sure that Onika would like to see you."

He nodded and looped down at the book in his hands. He handed Stephen the book, explaining, "Just please do me a favor? Give this to Onika. Tell her to stop by the palace and read to my father. I'm not looking for a pity favor. I'm just..." he took a deep breath before going on, "I have to give my father something to look forward to... A nice girl, that I'm in love with, faintly getting to meet her, and noticing that I'm in love with the right girl. He knows it but he need something good for once." He walked away as Stephen stopped him.

"You're in love with my sister?"

He stopped. "Yes I am," He turned around and walked away.

He walked upstairs and wrote in his journal and once the ink ran out, he didn't brother to get a new one. He stood up, pacing his room for a good ten minutes. After a while, he went down to the ball room. His eyes went wide once he saw how good of a job the soldiers did. There were table cloths covering every table--the dining table and even his throne had a red cushion on it. The dance hall was shiny and clean. Nervousness gripped his heart until he heard his dad's hearty chuckles coming from his room. He stood outside of his fathers bedroom door before he heard a girl's voice, so familiar, that it pained him. He froze. Onika.

The door opened as Onika walked out. Her red hair was up in a bun on her head. He nodded at her. "Hey."

She nodded. "Hi."

He stared deeply into her eyes. "How're you?"

She looked down at the tiled floor. "Fine."

"That's a lie."

She looked up and met his eyes cooly. "I don't have to tell you the truth." and with that, she was gone.

He sighed and walked into his dad's room.

"Onika just got through to the fifth chapter!"

He smiled. "How's the book so far?"

The king smiled. "It was great when I was reading it alone, but now it's even better. Now, tell me how you are."

He sighed as they sat together. "Okay..."

A/N: the picture above is of Kaya Scodelario and I imagine her as Adell. The next chapter is going to be pretty long but not as long as the chapter before this. Twenty three pages is the longest chapter I have ever written on Wattpad!
