Zephon woke up, peacefully and early in the morning. He got dressed and skipped breakfast, walking outside, feeling confused. He walks along the street while happy families pass. He sees Adell sitting down in front of a building on the grass, sadly. Zephon inhales sharply and decides to go talk to her. Adell notices him coming towards her and wipes her nose with the back of her hand. He sits down next to her.
"I'm sorry, Zephon."
He looks at her. "Maybe you should be saying that to Angelina."
Adell's eyes go wide and she looks down at the ground again. "You know? I don't know why I did it. Maybe, I was trying to make you jealous..."
He sighed. "It won't happen. I'm sorry, Adell."
She sighed. "I know. I think I need to apologize to Angelina and Johnny. I never liked him like that and I shouldn't have done it. I don't know what to do."
He sighed. "First you need to apologize to Johnny. Then, you go apologize to Angelina."
She stood up and wipes her eyes. "I'll do it now."
He nodded and watched her leave. He stayed there a while longer, staring at all the people passing and noticed how happy they all are and he smiles. He gets up and goes back to his family.

That night, Onika reads half of chapter ten but the king falls asleep before she could finish the book. Onika and Zephon look at each other. "Why is he so tired?"
He sighs in frustration. "I don't know."
Onika goes home and Zephon comes back to the palace inside his father's bedroom. He climbs in his father's bed and grabs his hand. Zephon notices how frail and weak his dad looked. He sighed, "I love you, dad." and with that, he blew out the candle, snuggling up to him in bed and his father squeezed his hand lightly. The queen comes in and smiles sadly at the two of them sleeping.
"I love you, Zephonic." His father's voice whispered through the night and Zephon woke up.
"Huh?" Ans goes back to sleep, hugging his father.
