" Tacky said you and Veron got into an argument? You are really something, you know that? ", Savy said. We were facing each other at the dining table right now, and we were the only ones there. I heard that Tacky left her alone here for a while.

Tacky went back to Manila he personally send Mang Jo and Gavin back home. I felt relief when I had a chance to talk to them through Exur's phone cause from there I knew he didn't do something to Gavin. And hoping he'll do what I asked him, and that's to look for my Aunt Sabel.

Savy chuckled, sensing my annoyance. " Oh come on, don't be so serious! I'm just teasing you. ", She said, playfully nudging my arm. " You know how rumors spread like wildfire around here. I'm sure there's a perfectly reasonable explanation for whatever happened between you and Veron. "

I rolled my eyes as I couldn't help it, she's really acting according to her age. Savy always knew how to lighten the mood, even in the most tense situations. " Well it's only a matter of misunderstanding. ", I retorted, trying to sound nonchalant. And I want to scream IT'S MORE THAN MISUNDERSTANDING!!

" And it's no longer your concern. ", I smiled at her. Fakely. I haven't forgotten how suspicious she became after founding me and Gavin. Those accusing eyes.

The elders probably knew it by now as she said rumors here are like wildfire so there is a high chance. Gladly none of them ask about it yet, well except to this b*tch infront of me who had a nerve just like his boyfriend to ask about it. They suit each other for that.

Savy raised an eyebrow mischievously. " Oh, I've seen your temper before. It's definitely a force to be reckoned with. ", She said, smirking. " But hey, let's not dwell on that. We're here to enjoy our meal, remember? "

I eyed her quizzically cause she was so curious awhile ago. Like what the h*ll did just happened? Has she gone nuts that she's talking more sensible now? She mentioned that she knows my behavior when I get angry, but earlier when she was teasing me, she couldn't care less.

Well after realizing that Savy was right. " You're right. ", I admitted, relaxing a bit. " Let's just forget about all the drama and focus on the delicious food in front of us. After all, that's what really matters, right? "

Savy nodded enthusiastically. " Absolutely! Now, pass me that plate of mouthwatering chicken wings, and let's dig in! "

We both laughed, our tension fading away as we indulged in the scrumptious meal before us. In that moment, as we were enjoying our meal and laughter, the dining room door swung open, and in walked Mommy Lily, accompanied by Veron. Their unexpected arrival caught us by surprise, and our laughter quickly subsided.

Mommy Lily's eyes widened as she took in the scene before her. " Oh, I didn't expect to find you two here." She said, a hint of concern in her voice I couldn't blame her though. " Is everything alright? "

I exchanged a quick glance with Savy, both of us uncertain of how to respond. I took a moment to gather myself before speaking up. " We're fine, Mommy Lily. Just enjoying our meal together. ", I replied, trying to sound composed despite the lingering tension in the air.
