I Got Transported to Another World and Can't Die (Rough Draft/Non-Official)

Chapter 7: First Week as a Servant

Ford slips on his uniform.

Ford: "I'm ready!"

His first task would be to trim the hedges around the castle, but he would end up cutting himself with the trimmers.

Ford: "--gahh!--"

Maid: "You're so useless"

Ford: "Shut up it's still my first day!"

Ford was right, it was only his first day working in the castle.

Maybe he would improve in the days ahead...

Day 2

Ford's task today would be to peel fruit and cut vegetables..

Ford: "AAHH..!!"

Ford would cut himself again..

The maid sighed, and said-

Maid: "It's obvious you aren't cut out for this task.."

Ford: "will you stop doubting me?! I got this!"

It's obvious Ford wasn't cut out for the Servant job.

But he believed he would improve..

Day 3

Ford's task today would be to clean and mop the castle, which would an everyday task.. but since Ford cut himself the first two days, he wouldn't be able to clean the first two days.

Ford grabbed the mop, and finally thought he found something he was capable of doing, but-

Ford: "gah!"

Ford would slip on the wet floors.

Maid: "I'm telling the Master"

Upon heading to the masters room..

Master: "What do you neeeeeeed??"

The master said in his classic, always planning something tone.

Maid: "Ford is useless at every task he does.. why did you hire him?"

Master: "I waaaaaaas only granting his wish.. he wanted to work here.. give him a chance, will you? It's only his third day.."

Maid: "as you wish, master"

Day 4

Ford's task today would also be peeling fruit and cutting vegetables, but Ford would once again prove to be useless..

Ford: "damnit!"

Ford cut himself again..

Maid: "just stay out of the way, you prove to be useless at every task."

Ford: "will you stop?!?! There is still time to improve, you know!"

Maid: "I gave you four days.. and you still proved to be useless"

Ford: "fine.. but I'll be better tomorrow.. you can count on it!"

Ford headed to his room, exhausted-

Ford: "uggghhhhh"

Ford: "finally get a break.."

Arias would come visit his room..

Arias: "Hello, Ford! How has your first week been so far?"

Ford: "Exhausting.. but seeing you blew it all away, fair lady!"

Arias sighed, saying-

Arias: "How many times do I have to tell you stop calling me that?"

Ford: "Why would I not call you that.. you are a princess..!"

Arias: "I guess there's no stopping you, is there?"

Arias: "Well, I should get going"

Ford: "You don't want to stay?"

Arias: "No.. I have to go check on Rosey and Rae.."

Ford: "Speaking of Rosey, has she actually talked to you?"

Arias: "yes, of course she has! Giving you the silent treatment, huh? She's like that with all our guests.. She'll talk to you at some point.. just give it some time."

Arias: "Well anyway, bye now!"

Ford: "bye!"

Arias walked out of the room, and Ford would try to go to sleep.. but,

He would always have these nightmares, each one involved him getting engulfed in a dark fog..

Ford: "guess I'm not sleeping tonight.."

Day 5

Ford's task today would be to clean the castle and cut and peel fruit and vegetables..

But Ford was exhausted..

Ford: "can I get the day off..?"

Ford said, yawning..

Maid: "Nobody gets a day off... But you're useless so I'll consider it.."

Maid: "hmm... No."

Ford: "Ugh.."

Ford would cut himself while peeling and cutting fruit and vegetables, and would slip when mopping the floor..

Just then..

Ford would pass out from physical exhaustion..

In his sleep, he would have the same nightmare..

He got engulfed in a dark fog..

Ford woke up, screaming-

Ford: "AAAHHH!"

Maid: "Ford, what happened??"

Ford: "just a nightmare, sorry.."

Ford: "Did you carry me to my bed??"

Ford woke up laying on his bed.

Maid: "I was only doing my job.. don't get any pervy ideas!"

Ford rolled his eyes, saying-

Ford: "I wasn't!"

Ford would try to fall back asleep, but couldn't, so he would stay up again..
