Chapter 14: Ford and The Best Healer

Ford walks outside-

Ford: "Where am I?"

Ford was moved to a small village. It was mainly full of houses, but there would be occasional shops lying around.

Ford saw what looked to be a hospital in the distance. It wasn't like the average hospitals that Ford would find in his world.

He would make his way to the hospital. Then, He was stopped by a strange woman in a hood.

??: "You shouldn't be out right now, Ford."

Ford looked at the strange woman, and said-

Ford: "Who are you, and how do you know my name?"

Just then, the woman took her hood off to reveal beautiful long blue hair, blue eyes, and who looked to be of human decent.

Ama: "My name is Ama. I am known as one of the best healers."

Ford looked shocked. "Best healer?!" He thought to himself.

Ford: "Hang on... Are you the one who healed me?"

Ama: "Princess Arias didn't have the power to heal the fatal wound that you had... So yes. Anyway, you should head back home. It's not safe for you to be out right now."

Ford: "didn't you heal me?"

Ama sighed, closed her eyes and said-

Ama: "Yes, that's true, but your wound was so fatal that the slightest movement can possibly kill you"

Ford turned around, and said-

Ford: "Alright"

Ford would go back to the house he was staying in, and tried to go back to bed. He couldn't, as he didn't have the dreamcatcher.

Ford was so caught up in stopping the forest Invaders that he forgot to ask Rae about the dreamcatcher in this loop.

So, he would try to ask Ama for help.

He looked around, and saw a bell laying on the table next to him. On the bell, was a note.

The note read:

"ring if you need something. -Ama-"

Ford rung the bell, and Ama would arrive in about one minute.

Ford: "that was fast"

Ama: "what do you need?"

Ford: "Umm... So... I've been having these really strange nightmares that prevent me from sleeping. Could you possibly do something to stop these nightmares?"

Ama's facial expression looked as if she knew what Ford was talking about.

Ama: "Tell me... What do you see in these nightmares?"

Her facial expression turned serious-

Ford: "Well... Each one involves me getting engulfed in a dark fog."

Ama's facial expression still serious, she said-

Ama: "There's no doubt about it.. those nightmares were caused by the Calamitous Witch..."

Ford turned to face Ama, and said-

Ford: "Ari--- I mean the princesses spirit also mentioned that witch... Who is she exactly?"

Ama: "I'm not exactactly sure... All I know is that those nightmares you're having are caused by her.."

Ama turned to Ford, with a look of distrust.

Ama: "Anyone who receives treatment like that can only be part of The Devoted Cult."

Ford: "Devoted... Cult?"

Ama: "they are the only group who supported the actions of the Calamitous Witch..."

Ama stood up, drew her staff, and faced Ford-

Ama: "Who exactly are you?!"

Ford: "I'm not part of that cult... I didn't even know what it was... You have to believe me!"

Ama: "I can't trust your words... But killing you would cause a bigger burden... So instead, I'll lock you in this house for the time being."

Ford: "WAI---"

Before Ford could finish what he was saying, Ama cut him off-

Ama: "Shut up! I don't wish to speak to you!"

Just then, Ama walked out of the house and locked Ford inside.

Ford: "damnit all!"

Ford has now become a prisoner.
