Chapter 31: Preparation for Laplan

Stone Bricks around the edge of the castle, stacked up forming a neat design, That's right: The Castle of Princess Arias.

A beautiful castle, right in the middle of a beautiful city. If this city was in modern times, Tourists would come flocking, phones and cameras in hand, ready to take as many pictures and videos as their hearts desire.

Instead, however, There was just one man from modern times, Ford Reski, Alone, sitting in the garden of the castle, contemplating what to do.

The Princess was captured, and it was up to the Knight, to save her. That sounds exactly like the plot of a movie, and that's exactly what Ford was thinking about.

Not a slither of sadness occupied his face. Instead, what befalled, was the look of excitement.

Another long adventure awaited Ford, and he was all for it.

Finally, his first real adventure in this new fantasy world. That's what Ford was thinking, and exactly what he was waiting for.

"It's been 5 years... I've done enough grieving, time to take action"

Ford said, as he started to stand up.

"I will save you, Arias... Wait for me.."

Back at the castle, Ford ran up the stairs and barged into the room Rose was staying in.

Rose: "what do you want?"

She said, as she rolled her eyes and sighed.

"I need your help... I plan to save Princess Arias... In order to do that, I need to find King William... You must know where he is, right?!"

Rose sighed, and said-

Rose: "Of course I do..."

As Ford heard that, he couldn't help but crack a smile. He tried to hug Rose, but before he could, she threw him out of her room and down the stairs..

"Ahh... I'm still not used to that.. That damn brat, she never told me where to g-- Huh?"

Ford looked next to him to see a piece of paper laying on the floor.

It was a map that contained the classic "X marks the spot" like that of a treasure map in those old pirate movies.

Ford, of course, had no idea what the X was on. The only person he could ask was Ladis, who happened to be a total expert with maps.

Ladis: "Hmm... If you look here, that's where we stopped when we met that strange individual 5 years ago" he pointed to a spot on the map, and Ford immediately recognized the layout of the map.

"So based on that.. the X must be in Laplan, right?"

Ladis: "Correct, and the only city that Great Spirit Rosey is most likely to track is Lorton, as that city was established fairly recently, and is founded by King William."

Ladis would then proceed to point at the X as he handed Ford the map.

Ladis: "So that's definitely where the X is located.. I'm sure of it."

"Thank you!"

Now that Ford had the location of King William, and Arias, he would be able to start the battle, but not without help.

He would first see if Cecilia would help him, which she ultimately agreed. After that, He would see if Vulgart would help, which he, would also agree.

Then, he would seek the aid of Reed Ober and Redis Hakul, and both of them had agreed to help.

Ford, at the time, Thought that would be enough help, but also couldn't help but think that he might be mistaken.

After all, this upcoming battle, might be the biggest one yet..
