"I feel that I'm back," I said, smiling behind the screen.

I finally got back together with Noah, giving both of us another chance. I promise to myself, this will be the last chance that I give to us. I hope this lasts.

"Yeah, you are back," he answered, "I'm back."
"I love you," I texted him.

A sentence I longed to tell him properly. Noah's response appeared on the screen, and I felt my heart skip a beat as I read his words.

"I love you too," he replied, filling me with warmth and joy. It was a simple message, but it held so much meaning and reassurance.

As our text conversation continued, we expressed our excitement to see each other after the school holidays. We decided to meet at a quite secretive place, a small place between the blocks of the school.

He suddenly went offline when we were having our conversation halfway. But then he remembered to come back and notify me.

"I might not get to see my grandma, I'm going to the hospital now, see ya."

My heart sank as I read Noah's sudden message. Concern and worry washed over me, replacing the excitement that had been building up inside me. I quickly replied, expressing my concern and asking if he needed any assistance or support.

"Noah, is everything okay? What happened to your grandmother?" I typed frantically, hoping for a swift response.

Minutes passed, feeling like an eternity, until finally, his reply appeared on the screen.

"I'll talk to you later when I get back, I gotta go, love you."

My heart skipped a beat as I read Noah's hurried message. I could sense the urgency in his words, and my worry for both him and his grandmother intensified. I desperately wanted to be by his side, to offer my support and comfort during this challenging time.

"I love you too, Noah. Please take care," I quickly typed back, hoping that my words would provide some solace.

With a heavy heart, I watched as the chat window closed, leaving me in a state of uncertainty. I knew I had to be patient and wait for Noah to reach out when he was ready.

It was eleven at night already, two hours since he left. I was waiting for his response. At that moment, I felt like giving up because I was too tired.

"Hey, I'm back. Sorry for disappearing like that. Things were pretty intense at the hospital," his message read.

Noah was finally back.

Relief washed over me as I quickly replied, "I'm just glad you're okay. How's your grandmother doing?"

"She's gone."
