Nathan's PVO

I was coming out of the cafeteria to see Addy sitting at the picnic tables with Lila and her friends.

I felt hatred flow through my veins, while at the same time I felt my heart flutter.

But I can't let myself feel for her.

Defiantly not after what she did.

She is a cunning little brat.

I don't even know how she got into the 'Gifted' program (higher education). Her dearest father probably found a loop hole or bribed the principal and the school board with the usual "donations".

As I approached the table where they were sitting Addy gave her brand name innocent and cunning smile. Ugh.

" Well hello there Nathan." Addy innocently said to me with, I knew was a smirk under her layers of make-up.

"Well hello Addy." I spat at her with disgust made clearly for the world to hear.

Lila, Belle, Madi, and Emilia were clearly confused for they were wide eyed, and wildly looking back and forth between Addy and I.

I tried to ignore them for now until I explain this to Lila.

I sat down beside Lila and began eating my lunch.

Lila's PVO:

As Nathan approached the table, Addy spoke up.

" Well hello there Nathan." Addy said to Nathan innocently, with a subtle hint of hatred in there.

"Well hello Addy." Nathan spat at her with a hint of disgust I have never heard from him.

Whoa! Wait a second!

Have they already met today? Maybe, but they couldn't of since Addy just got here at the school right after 2nd period ended.

Then the light bulb turned on above my head invisibly.

They. Know. Each. Other.

But the question is how...

Addy said she is new here.

Clearly the girls have also processed this in their own heads by their wide eyes feverishly looking from Addy to Nathan.

What could possibly be between the two of them?

Addy never said where she moved from.

And I know she wasn't from around here, from the way she acts.

Oh, well...

I wanted to break this awkward silence so I turned to Nathan.

"So, I guess you two know each other already."

"Yes, Nathan and I know each other very well. Isn't that right Hun' ?" Addy announced sounding all sweet and innocent, adding a sweet little smile.

She then moved and sat on the other side of Nathan, scooting right beside him not an inch of space wasted between the two.

"I am not your Hun' Addy. Get that out of that thick head of your's already." Nathan spat at her, scooting away from her and closer to me.

"Okay, is it just me people? Or is it getting awkward in here.?" Emilia complained getting nods from Madi, Belle and myself.

"Awww... Honey.... Why don't you just tell them already?" Addy complained to Nathan with a grim smirk on her face.

Any feelings I had for Nathan suddenly disappeared out into thin air. And that wasted energy was turned toward Addy.
