Those Eyes...

Reuniting

The shock on his face was priceless when he saw me. I was the only one from our school last year, in this class, so nobody knew him. For now. Nathan was a people person, meaning that he was a popular kid anywhere he went.

Anyways, when he saw me he was smiling from ear to ear. Any other girl would literally pass out of pure shock that a cute boy like him, since he is smiling directly at her. But, since I am who I am and I happen to remember that he ditched me for other girls and never answered my texts as if he fell off the face of this earth! I was ready to hold my grudge. For now. Cause he came in smiling as if nothing had ever happened! I mean who does that!?!

Then I felt my friends Belle, Emilia, and Madi are staring at me with a smirk. Though it was the smirk that your good friends give you when they have a secret or when they see you with your crush. But I knew exactly what they were thinking, and it was "Is he single?!"

People say that eyes are the windows to a person's soul, and they were right. The 3 of them were glancing quickly back from me to him. If they only knew...

After that since the person beside of me was at home sick for the past 3 days, our teacher had him sit by me. ***Ughhhhhhhh...... Whyyyy.....*** So the class began shortly after that "event" with notes, book work and more notes, gladly.

Later on when the bell marking the end of this class FINALLY rang, I zoomed out of the classroom as quickly as possible and scurried to lunch. But as I mentioned earlier Nathan was on my basketball team and caught up with me quicker than I imagined.

"Hey Lila what's up gurl?" Nathan asked slickly as he held on to the back of my backpack.

"WHAT THE FRICK NATHAN?! How can you act like nothing ever happened!" I screamed back at him.

(Just as a note the teachers do not care about us, what we do, or our social etiquette as long as they get paid to "teach us". So this is totally the norm at my school.)

"Whoa! What do you mean gurl? He asks 'the way guys act when they are trying to be "cool" '

"UGHHH! What do you mean what HAPPENED?! I asked disgustedly in rage.

"No emails, calls, replying to texts or social contact of any kind over the Summer! Its like you fell off the face of the earth!! Then one day you SUDDENLY just pop-up again! Now. What do you mean what happened?!" I said in a pure raged outburst.

Then I stormed off toward the cafeteria.

In the distance I heard him yell "Its a long story!"

Well it better be a good one ....
