Lila's POV~

The next day I met up with Belle, Madi, and Emilia right after they got off their buses.

We had 15 minutes til school started so we group walked around school everyday. It was our tradition we started a month after school started since we all came from different elementary schools.

"What a party pooper Mr.Wilz was yesterday!" Madi complained.

"Can't he just mind his little old business!! I mean I can't believe he hasn't kicked the bucket yet!" Belle raved.

"He's just an old fogie that's all girls." said Emilia.

We started walking out of Building 8 when I finally wanted to address my thoughts to the girls from 2 days ago. But since at this school I have learned, if you have a conversation with your friends in the hallway it seems to become everyone's business if they are around you.

Literally one day I was mad at Belle for not texting me back for like 3 whole days. The day we got back I was pretty annoyed at her and sort of/accidently went off at her and asked her "Are you ignoring me?!". Then the next thing I know some girl replied "Yes she is!!".

I don't know why she did that! First of all she wasn't apart of this conversation. So but out! Second, mind ya own business girl!

Back to the present:

We were now walking on the sidewalk near the agriculture classroom which was on the far side of school, with no one around.
It was the perfect area to tell them...

"You know about my conversation with Nathan. Well... you need to keep that a secret. Tell absolutely NO ONE! I promised to keep that a secret, so you must to since I could not help that y'all were eavesdropping."

"Do I make myself clear? Absolutely, No One."

"Yes, Lila" they all said in unison, robot like.

"Now Lila, I think he likes you!" Madi said teasingly.

"Yeah he gotta crush on my best friend." Belle teased

I could feel my cheeks burning... I tried to cover my face with my hands, but it did not help one bit.

"Ooooh your blushing Lil' !" exclaimed Emilia

There was only one way to defend myself and my pride. If it did not work there was only one option. It was to run, and face them later.

I took option A.

"Now you guys!! He probably has a girl friend, and he is my friend so no. I have known him forever almost, and I don't want that to change! So no! No! No! No!!" I fussed at them.

All they did was laugh. This made me furious with embarrassment so I ran. I would rather face their wrath later, so I could get my thoughts together.

But I More like fast walked since we aren't supposed to run outside of PE. Why run when you don't have to!

Like I said I ran down the agricultural room hallway to the back near the tiny farm our schools takes care of and onto the clay road that leads to the back of building 8.

There was no one on the pathway, so I really wasn't paying attention where I was walking.

I knew the school hallways like the back of my hand.

**RING!!! RING!!** That was the 5 minute bell, great I need to get to 1st period!!

Next thing I know I smack right in the face with someone and fall down onto the cemented back "porch" of Building 8.

It's hurts to get up, but I got up and brushed myself off. I turn to look at the person that I smacked my face into, almost practically kissing.

OH NO!
Its....!!!
Nathan.

"Ummmm" was all I could get out even though I was stammering while during so.

"Sorry Lila! I wasn't looking where I was going, and was in a rush and I thought I might be late for class, and then I ran into you. And now my day is just getting worse! I'm so sorry Lila!" Nathan spit out at me, super fast not taking breathes and definitely not "cool guy" like.

**Whoa... Take a chill pill dude... don't hyperventilate on me!***

"Its okay Nathan. It understand. Now don't hyperventilate on me and get to class." I replied smoothly then smiling at him.

"Thanks Lil'. Your the best." He said with his "cool guy" touch.

"I know am." I said then flipping my hair going to first period class.

It's going to be a good day.

But what am I going to do about my Girls?
