The Plan

Lila's PVO:
Finally made it to my 1st period class right before the tardy bell rang.

I literally took 2 steps into the classroom then **RING!! RING!!**

Joy! I wasn't late and even though I have this class with my girls they had no time to bother me since Science was mostly note taking and individual work!!

The class was over in 50 minutes so I need to make a plan when I see my girls and Nathan. So I was really looking forward to that meeting.

**Ughh**

But I'm somewhat smart enough to figure this out.

**Right? Sure... I think so...**

I mean my friends are really sweet to say that I'm smart and everything.

Lets face it. I'm no Einstein, Darwin or smart out-of-this-world genius.

Just Lila.

There will always be someone below you and some one higher/smarter than you except if your Einstein.
But you are not Einstein.

I've got it.

The perfect plan.

2nd Period~

The bell rang announcing the ending of 1st period Science.

There was 5 minutes until next class, the comments and conversations made would then

It was time...

"Hey Lila!" Emilia exclaimed while walking into the classroom with Belle & Madi.

"Well hello Lila nice to see you today lovely." Madi added with a 'matter of factly' tone.

"So.. howz it goin Lil'." Belle said to me in a New Jersey accent adding a little pointing hand movement while saying it.

"Oh you know... peachy." I replied nonchalantly, knowing they were waiting for Nathan to come in.

Hmp... Jokes on them.😆

Almost on cue Nathan walked into the classroom and sat right beside me.

"Oh hello ladies, Lila." He acknowledged with his "to cool for you" guy tone.

I could see the gears in their heads just turning away...

"Oh hello Nathan! Is that right?" Asked Madi acting unsure

"Yes."

Belle and Emilia smirked at me from behind Madi.

Nathan I guess saw them smirking and gave me a quick look 'what is with them?' glance.

I just shrugged him off.

Perks about being really good friends with him is that I knew how to read his facial expressions quick.

Well let's say that I have learned from experience from a sub catching us.

Flashback to last year:

We have a sub today in Mr.Reals class.

Nathan sits across the room facing me.

This sub just keeps going on and on about how he has done this and this and that over the years.

Could he just give us the worksheets and be done already?!

Nathan was getting bored so we were giving each other looks and practically have our own conversation.

The sub apparently caught us. This guy was the "picking type". I am the direct opposite of picking. I am serious, anti-sarcastic and anti-picking.

The sub suddenly stopped "if your giving her looks man-up and ask her out to be her boyfriend!"

My face burned red.

I honestly don't even know what Nathan's reaction was but I was embarrassed head to toe.

"I'm just joking!" The sub said breaking the silence trying to break the awkward silence by adding a 'laugh'.

I mentally noted to myself that I hate, no really disliked this guy.

Apparently as I found out from others in different class periods that he did that to everyone.

Back to today:

The memory was fresh as an opened bleeding wound on my arm.

Class was about to start so the kid that previously sat beside of me that was out sick when Nathan came, passed out the New England states worksheets for us to use to study that region of states.

We would be able to have small talk with our table partner as long as we were working productively.

"So how is your head?" I asked him

"Fine."

I knew our conversation was being listened to by neighboring tables.

So I need him to know that, so we wouldn't talk about this morning.

Our conversation is being listened to by E.,B.,M. so let'snottalkaboutthismorning.

I scribbled onto my paper small so sneaky far away eagle eyes couldn't see it.

Then I motioned to Emilia, Belle, and Madi with my eyes.

He nodded in response understanding.

I quickly erased it off my paper with my good eraser so the message couldn't be faint enough to see.

I was going to give the girls exactly what they don't wanna hear.

Everything BUT lovely-Dovey, love sick teenagers smush talk.

"So how are you Nathan?"

"Good, next year I will be trying out for the Boy's Basketball team. They have a good coach here I've heard."

"Yep, but not like Coach David."

"Of course."

"Aren't you still friends with Cooper?"

(A/N: Cooper is Coach David's oldest son who is a year older than Nathan&Lila)

"Yes, he also knows Lila since my mother trusted his family and have known them since before she was married. Also since my mother wanted me to have some contact to my world.

He is on the Green Cove Junior High Basketball team. A 3 point guard."

"I haven't talked to him lately."

The conversation continued through out the class leaving the girls chomping on their gum out of boredom.

***Ring!!!Ring!!***

Lunch! Joy! Freedom!
And best of all.... Drum roll please..... FOOD!!!!!!!!!

"LIL WAIT UP FOR US!"

Just when I thought my lunch would be peace, quite and anti-messes.

Author's Section:

Sorry I haven't updated in almost a month! I have school which has final exams & last minute assigned projects! But I should be updating & publishing faster in about 2 weeks when Summer Break starts!!
By the way I had been writing the chapter on and off for the last few weeks since I have had a major writers block!

I see people are actually reading my book, which I find surprising.
