"YES, TEA! THAT'S MY TRADE! QUINCY ENDICOTT'S HEALTH TEA." the old man now known as Quincy Endicott exclaimed gleefully with a wink. Our group was now was sitting in a very fancy dining room with expensive food littering the table in many different sizes "Your tea sounds good" Greg chirped eating a loaf of bread as the old man shuddered at the mere thought "ugh never touched the stuff"  sir Quincy Endicott gagged rolling his eyes "bleh me neither" Greg agreed just as disgusted with a pout as the old man laughed joyfully "Ha ha yes! it's all for the money!" he rejoiced before shuddering once again with a smile putting his feet up on the table lazily, smushing his food on his plate "it's all for the money! yes, the money takes my mind off my troubles, the deep soul-crushing loneliness." he croaked and mumbled with sorrow. It was almost as if a shadow was cast over him for dramatic effect as he narrated "YES, THE MORE MONEY I MAKE, THE BIGGER MY MANSION GETS, THE MORE LOST I FEEL." he sobbed lightly.

"Why! This house is so big, I sometimes don't even know where or who I  am" the old man laughs, but there was nothing humorous about what he said. Beatrice looked at the old man in sorrow before awkwardly changing  the subject "Yeah, well, I'm glad your nephews  here were able to pay a  visit." she noted as she gestured to the pair of boys with her wing  while  (y/n) took a sip from her cup (was it Quincy's brand tea she was  drinking? shell never know)

"Yeah, yeah!" Greg chirped "Yes, what a -- what a pleasure it is to have company" the old man rambled with a smile then turned to wirt with a boisterous laugh "Ha! My dear boy, so glad you brought your sweetheart to join us as well! Yes! Yes!" he exclaimed with a laugh as he then turned to (y/n) "My dear a– um yes a hum true treat! That you are joining us!" he exclaimed merrily in his raspy voice "i do hope my dear nephew ie-ie is treating you well" the (h/c) girl smiled politely as her cheeks  flushed, but she didn't look embarrassed at all as she announced in a tender tone "yes I  am well sir. And he's taken good care of me"  she pulled her cape closer to her to retain some type of warmth in the dimly lit room, she had noticed that the nights in these woods had gotten colder and she prayed for better weather for tomorrow, the old man simply laughed as he suddenly jumped up on the table, shattering his plate with his weight but he didn't seem to care as he gleefully exclaimed "joy! Yes! Wonderful! a- a  perfect pleasure! A perfect pleasure, lads! a per-- yes, yes.!"

"ha ha! yeah! ha ha! perfect pleasure, heather..." Both Quincy and Greg sang on top of the table kicking plates and dishes of food aside with out a care in the world.

"Wirt" Beatrice called out when she caught him staring at the girl across the table who was laughing that the old man and boy who were dancing "Wirt!" She called out once again, startling the teen boy as he turned to his bird companion, a wry expression on his face showing her he was listening. Satisfied with his discomfort she simply smiled and said "Eat your food it's gonna get cold"

Deciding not to address what happened just moments before "Um, Beatrice, w-why are you  saying that i-im this guy's nephew?" He asked in a whisper taking a bite of his bread roll "We need money" she whispered back as he gasped scandalized "You're scamming him?" The bird shrugged carelessly "i was thinking more like flat-out stealing from him." "what? no way!" Wirt exclaimed in outrage "why not? we already stole a horse" Beatrice chastised gesturing to their four-hooved companion "hey, guys" Fred greeted in his nasal voice. Wirt crossed his arms and said snootily "No, we didn't. fred's a talking horse. he can do whatever he wants." "i want to steal" Fred replied "[ gasps ] What?! you guys are bonkers" Wirt scolded as Beatrice skitters on to his shoulder  "If we're going to adelaide's, we need two cents" "mm-hmm"the horse agreed  "Well, you guys do what you --two cents? only two cents?" Wirt asked, deeply confused "Yeah, we need two pennies to take the ferry to adelaide'spasture" the bird explained
