Oh, and speaking of which, I'm holding a contest for all of artists out there on Wattpad!

I played the moment over and over again in my head.

I kissed her.

I loved the feeling of her adorable lips on mine. The way she leaned into me like she'd lost balance.

Her kiss was so refreshingly different from Astrid's several teasing kisses.

She wasn't gentle, but she wasn't aggressive like Astrid.

And even after it was over, Mer's face had a sort of daze that made you want to kiss her again.

I could barely pull myself from her, but I knew I had to.

Merida isn't the sort to want to move too fast.

She'd never admit to it, but she's almost like a bird, a dragon, even. Beautiful when you watch, but if you approach it too fast, it'll fly away. If she feels the least bit uncomfortable, she'll get scared and run away. No matter how powerful she is.

So no matter how much I want to kiss her as many times as I can, I can't.

I can wait, though.

She's worth the wait.

I thought all of this as I walked over to my dorm, and hoped with all that I had, that Kristoff wasn't there.

Fortunately, when I opened the door, there was no Kristoff to be found, which I should have questioned because he rarely leaves his room, but I didn't. I was just glad I'd have the peace and quiet that I needed, to practice my second favorite hobby.

Drawing.

My first favorite was riding dragons, of course. But drawing came in a close second.

I had already been working on this piece for a while.

It was a picture of Merida smiling competitively.

Most of her hair was off to one side, and her eyes were focused.

And since I like mideivel stuff, she's wearing a dress. It was ripped at the seams, though, and the skirts at the bottom were dripping in mud.

I like to think that if we lived back then, she would be so daring. So amazing.

My eyes slowly wandered away form her eyes to her lips.

Ughhhhhh!!!

I can't even stop thinking about it when I look at a drawing.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

"Hullo? Hiccup, we need to talk."

Do we really?

She was silent, waiting for me to respond.

"Merida."

My ears got warm, and I stopped.

I couldn't even say her name without a rush of feelings overwhelming me.

Get yourself together, Hiccup.

I opened the door a little too fast, but apparently she was leaning on it, so she lost her balance and fell into me.

Hold it in.
