I sat in their chair, staring out of the open window and daring someone to climb through it.

But I knew that was impossible.

I spent 15 years in this tower and no one ever came to rescue me.

I thought that was ok.

But it wasn't. People aren't meant to be hidden and alone.

It didn't take too long for me to realize that I was being tricked, after all, the education in there wasn't very good, but I'm not stupid.

I hate this place.

I heard whatever was in the cauldron behind me begin to boil.

What does this witch want?

The Evil Queen had knocked me out again and relocated me to the tower of my nightmares.

Okay, well, she wasn't a queen, but she was evil nonetheless.

Grimhilde was the worst of the worst, or so I hear.

She murdered her husband in attempt to take over his company, but apparently it was never written in his will that she would be the following owner.

I heard she even tried to kill Snow, a girl in my Happiness class.

She was supposed to be in jail by now, but apparently there was insufficient proof.

A crow flew over my head and through the window of this prison.

"What are you-"

Faintly, I heard a man's voice grunting.

A man?

The only people who ever came here were the two witches.

What if they've finally decided that they don't need me for anything and sent over Mr. Testosterone to finish the job.

I rebelled against the ropes they had tied me against the chair with.

At first they considered tying me up with my own hair, but decided that they might need it to reach me.

But I can't think about trivial things like that, right now.

Am I going to die?

Finally I resolved to stop struggling and die with dignity.

Whoever this guy is, he can watch the life leave me as I die. I want him to see me in his nighmares and be plagued by my lifeless face as he falls asleep every ni-

Suddenly I saw the face of my soon-to-be killer rise from over the windowsill.

And my heart raced for a completely different reason.

It was Flynn.

"Rapunzel, oh thank God I found you."

He was untying the ropes that bound me to the unbearable chair that they'd forced me into.

"When I heard about what happened, I couldn't- I just- I'm just glad your safe."

Tears were forming in the back of my eyes and clouded my vision.

He was looking for me?

I felt my hands, that were previously tied up together behind the chair, loosen.

And then I let the tears fall.

I turned around until I was facing him, but drooped my head in shame.
