"Who is she?" Astrid asked, the sound of disgust dribbling from her mouth like Toothless's drool at the sight of fish.

"What does it matter to you? She's my friend. That's who she is," I countered.

"Umm, she is right here. So I'd appreciate it if you didn't talk about me right in front of me."

Astrid cocked an eyebrow at Merida.

"Oh? Would you prefer we talked about you behind your back because that's ok with me too," Astrid retorted, as she smiled viciously.

"Hey! Just stop. Lets all just try to get along," I blurted, getting between the two before they bit off each other's heads.

They backed away from each other.

I smiled to myself.

I'm like a superhero.

Peaceman!

No.

Peaceboy!

No.

The Peacemaker!

I give up.

"Whatever, I'm out of here," Astrid announced as she walked away.

"I thought she would never leave," I told Merida, as I gave a sigh of relief.

"Ha, I bet she wouldn't have unless you stepped in," Merida smiled, "you're a pretty good peacemaker."

Yes! I knew that name worked!

I put my fists on my hips and looked into the mid-nowhere.

"I bet I'd make a good superhero."

"Don't get ahead of yourself, Superman. First, you have to get out of high school. Which means you have to pass it, and right now, your not doing a very good job of that."

"You're right, pass high school first. Then, I'll be a superhero," I joked, looking in the same place I had the first time and making the same pose.

"Sure," Merida replied sarcastically, "and how do you plan on passing high school if all you do is talk to girls in every period?"

"Well, I'm not much of a great candidate for physical classes," I explained.

"And what's so physical about cannons?" Merida retorted.

"Its just that, first, you have to put the heavy ball into the cannon. Then you have to mess with all the gunpowder stuff. After that, you have to put a wick into the cannon, and your still not done! You still have to set it on fire, and I don't know about you, but I don't know how to make fire. Its just so tiring," I whined.

"Oh please, your such a wimp!" she replied.

"And I am proud that!" I shouted, bumping one of my fists against my chest like a gorilla.

She laughed.

I could make her laugh all day.

"Alright, you know what, we'll set up a cannon together. But you have to be the one to carry the cannonballs. I'll do the rest."

"Fine," I conceded.

So we set up about five cannons together, until I had to put up my hand to signal the universal sign for stop, and I attempted to catch my breath.

"Oh, come on! You know what you are Hiccup? You're such a wimpy wimp that you make wimpy wimps feel . . . not wimpy!"

"Oww, that hurt!" I cried holding my shoulder, as if I'd been harmed.
