Marcia:
"He said, I was in my early 40s
With a lot of life before me
When a moment came that stopped me on a dime
I spent most of the next days
Looking at the x-rays
Talk 'bout the options
And talking 'bout sweet time"

Mike:
"I asked him when it sank in
That this might be the real end
How's it hit you
When you get that kind of news?
Man, what'd you do?
He said"

Both:
"I went skydiving
I went rocky mountain climbing
I went 2.7 seconds
On a bull named Fumanchu
And I loved deeper
And I spoke sweeter
And I gave forgiveness I've been denying
And he said, some day I hope you get the chance
To live like you were dying"

Mike and I had entered school together. I had drove as apposed to Ryder picking us up. We were both wearing black and had red, puffy, bloodshot eyes from lack of sleep and tears. We had gotten awful news the night before. News that brought us back to the night we found out dad had died.

People were looking at us, but they weren't giving us weird looks because they knew what was going on and, some of them, understood the feeling.

Mike:
"He said, I was finally the husband
Though most the time I wasn't
And I became a friend a friend would like to have"

Both (Marcia):
"And all of a sudden, going fishing
Wasn't such an imposition
(And I went three times that year I lost my dad)"

Marcia:
"Well I finally read the good book
And I took a good long hard look
At what I'd do if I could do it all again
And then"

Both:
"I went skydiving
I went rocky mountain climbing
I went 2.7 seconds
On a bull named Fumanchu
And I loved deeper
And I spoke sweeter
And I gave forgiveness I've been denying
And he said, some day I hope you get the chance
To live like you were dying"

We rounded the corner and into the choir room. The Glee club was gathered around, laughing, having fun. They were a lot happier than we were. But everyone stopped when they seen us.

Mike (Both):
"Like tomorrow was a gift
And you got eternity to think about what to do with it
What could you do with it?
What can I do with it?
(What would I do with it?)"

Both (Mike):
"Skydiving
I went rocky mountain climbing
I went 2.7 seconds
(On a bull named Fumanchu)
And I loved deeper
And I spoke sweeter
And I watched an eagle as it was flying
And he said, some day I hope you get the chance
To live like you were dying"

Mike:
"To live like you were dying"

Both:
"To live like you were dying!"

Everyone applauded us as Mike and I began to cry again. Ryder got up to hug me close to him and Heather got up to hug Mike. I cried onto Ryder's chest and he whispered soothing words into my ear. He understood why I was this way. I had called him when I got the news.

Ryder kissed my forehead as Mr. Schue got up from his spot on the piano bench to confront Mike and I.

"You guys, that was amazing. But why so emotional?" he asked.

Mike and I gave each other a look. I nodded and Mike replied, in a hoarse and husky voice, "Robin Williams."

The room went quiet. I wrapped my arms around Ryder, pulling him close and wishing not to let go. I'm sure they all knew why we were sad, but they didn't understand the depths of it.

Robin Williams was more than just an actor to us. He was our whole childhood. The first ever movie I went to see in theaters with dad was Aladdin. A few years later, we took Mike to see Jumanji. Robin Williams was important to us, he was the biggest part of the memories we had with dad. When we heard he died, it was like losing dad all over again.
