Chapter 13 - Choices Suck

Ethan's POV

What the hell was I supposed to do?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

She told me she loved me!

Like, what the f*ck?!

I've been nothing but a b!tch to her!

What should I do?

If I leave, I'll find some other girl but I'll probably stave to death or get killed in the forrest.

If I stay, I be with a hot girl and become human again.

But do I really want to be with her?

Do I really love her too?

"I'm done!" I heard her say with my super awesome bunny ears.

"I'm uh going to go check on my bunny. I think I left the window open, dad. I want to check and see if he's still there," She said.

"Ok. If he's not there, I'll get you a new bunny, hun." He said, soothingly.

"Thanks," She said.

I can picture her fake smile.

Oh sh!t!

She's coming!

What do I do, what do I do, what do I do?!?!?!?!?!?

I looked back and forth from the window to the door, the window to the door, the window to the door.

I hear footsteps!

Sh!t!

I jumped to the window and looked down and gulped.

DAMN, we're up high!

"Almost there. . ." I heard her mutter.

My body stiffened.

Oh conscience, if you're still there, please HELP. ME!

Nothing.

Nope? No answer? Fine.

I guess I'll stay.

"It's not like she really loves me, right?" I reassured myself.

And right then, Selene opened the door.

There was silence as she slowly closed the door and walked in.

"Y-You're still here?" She practically whispered.

I nodded.

"Selene. . . I. . . I love. . . . I love y-. . . . . I love you. I love you, Selene." I said, looking into her eyes.

Her eyes widened in shock.

I, too, am shocked by my choice of words as well.

"Y-You do?" She said, still shocked.

I nodded.

"Oh my God. . ." She whispered, sitting next to me.

She picked me up so that I could meet her eyes.

"I love you," She said, truthfully.

All of a sudden, I felt this huge change in my body.

She quickly dropped me on the bed and went near the door.

I closed my eyes and endured the pain as I felt my bones crackling again.

I felt myself getting less furry.

I felt like I was becoming bigger and taller, like a giant.

And I felt this warm glow around me.

I can only imagine that there were sparkles as I transformed.

After I felt everything was done, I opened my eyes.

I saw Selene, in a corner, her mouth open wide.

Selene's POV

HOLY SH!T

The transformation thing was so cool!

He was floating in the air, with a glow around him.

He had his eyes closed as I heard his bones crackle and change.

There were sparkles flying around him.

His hair was disappearing.

And when he opened his eyes, they were on me.

And let me say this now - HE IS HOT!

Ethan's POV

I looked around me.

It felt so different now that things were actually smaller instead of a hundred times bigger than me.

I walked slowly, not used to my human legs.

But soon, I made it over to Selene.

She was still standing there with her jaw dropped.

I smirked and walked over to her.

Now, I was about 1 or two inches taller than her.

I put my hands on her waist as she put hers on my shoulders.

"Wow. . . you look. . ." She trailed off, looking at me again.

"Ugly?" I said, remembering what my parents said.

She made a face.

"Ugly? You're anything but! You're hot!" She said, blushing at the end.

"What's that? Did Selene just. . . blush?" I said, fake gasping.

She rolled her eyes and said, "Come here, you."

She grabbed my head and pulled it close to hers, putting her lips on mine.

I gripped her waist and kissed back with as much experience as I had, since women didn't really fancy me that much.

A few seconds later, she pulled apart smiling.

"You look amazing," She said, pressing her forehead on mine.

I smiled, as well.

"Selene? What's going on there?" I heard her dad say.

We snickered.

"Wonder what he'll say when he says you. . ." She mused.

I laughed.

"He'll probably kick my a$$, considering I'm a boy and I'm in a closed room, with you. Catch my drift?" I said, winking.

She blushed and said, "Catch my drift is old."

I rolled my eyes and held her hand as we walked out the door.
