Chapter 8 - A Brawl of Memories

THIRD PERSON POV

While Kai and Chuck were playing, Gally caused ANOTHER fight.. "Kai should and will be put in the pit for the night! No food, that child will cause us way too much trouble!" Gally pursued, "Gally no! She's just a kid and didn't even do anything wrong!" Thomas said pushing Gally.

Alby tried to stop them but they started punching each other, Alby and Newt went in the middle to stop them, but due to Thomas' and Gally's anger they accidentally punched Alby and Newt..

Kai was crying but Chuck, Frypan, and Jeff comforted her.. "Admit it Thomas! Kai is a mini version of you! She could literally put us in danger!!" Gally screamed at Thomas while pushing Him, those words hit Kai..

After Gally said that Kai remembered something.. The reason why she felt so close to Thomas, why she acted a little bit like him.. It was all because Thomas was her older brother..

While she was remembering Thomas being her brother, Chuck, Frypan, and Jeff were still comforting her trying to make her laugh or play with her

Kai couldn't believe it, how did she remember? She had been so young when they were separated, but now it all made sense. She had always felt a connection to Thomas, even though she couldn't explain it.

As Gally continued to argue with Thomas, Kai stood up and walked over to them. "Stop it, both of you!" she yelled, surprising everyone with her sudden outburst. "Thomas is my brother, and I won't let you hurt him anymore!"

The Gladers looked at Kai in shock, not knowing what to say. Thomas, however, had a look of recognition on his face, as if he had already known the truth. "Kai," he said softly, "I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I didn't want to put you in danger."

Kai hugged Thomas tightly, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. She had found her brother, and nothing else mattered. The other Gladers looked on in silence, realizing that they had been wrong about Kai all along.

"Sorry to 'ruin' your family reunion but my decision is final, and I'd like to add another punishment for Thomas!" Gally said mockingly then angrily, "What the shuck do you want now Gally?" Newt said, "Gally, may I remind you, not everything you want will happen!" Alby replied.
