THIRD PERSON POV:
"Oi! Where are you going?" Minho asked as he followed Thomas quickly, "Back to the maze" Thomas replied. Upon Kai over hearing them she ran in front of Thomas and huffed "No!! No! No! You can't go out there, what if you get hurt?! What if you get stuck?!" Minho agreed with the girl. "Kai's right, you just got out, now you want back in?" Minho added, he was confused about Thomas' decision making until Thomad replied with "We killed a griever in there, and actually survived.. What if there's more to it?" "More yo what?" "The griever, we don't really know what it is, now's our chance to check it out, experiment."
Upon noticing Minho contemplating the idea, Kai interrupted them "No way!! You guys can't seriously be thinking this through?! It's too dangerous!!" Kai jumped onto Thomas' leg, clinging into him "If you go, I'll go!!" The two boys sighed and tried to argue, but they were arguing with a brick wall.
Soon, without wasting any more time, Minho and Thomas gathered the rest of the runners to check the griever, the other runners were amazed to actually see one and Kia was disgusted and horrified by the sight, but Minho didn't waste time, he tried to check out some parts of the griever, Thomas as well and found its "heart" which seemed ro be a battery or generator of some sort.. Realizing the griever might just be a robot, they brought back the "heart" that was labeled WCKD and brought it to the medbay for it to be examined.
Later on, Minho told Thomas to meet him by the woods, not necessarily specifying, but Thomas nodded.

Thirty minutes later
~
Thomas was looking for Minho around the wooda, Kai following close, after finding Minho, Minho led him to a secret tent, inside was a model map of the maze. Thimas was shocked and amazed. "Yeah, no one knows about this, but I've figured out the pattern of the maze everyday, how it changes, where everything goes. I've been in and out long enough" Minho explained, a hint of pride in his tone. Kai was looking outside, amazed.
